Job Overview As part of the Global IT Operations Center (GITOC) and within the Cyber Team you develop and maintain all Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation in compliance with Cyber Security regulations to maintain the Unified Communications (UC) systems/application areas.

Working in Headquarters Army Materiel Command, as the ISSO, you focus on Cyber Security for Unified Communication (UC) and mission IT services. You ensure Cyber Security compliance, guidance, and reporting. Work Model:

Onsite/Office-Based Responsibilities Essential Duties & Job Functions: Performs RMF requirements necessary to obtain and maintain an ATO for UC systems. Performs risk analysis of security controls.

Drafts security policies and procedures. Documents test results and uploads artifacts. Performs risk mitigation and develops POA&Ms.

Performs the activities necessary to obtain security accreditation of AMC UC and mission IT systems and applications. Uses current information security technology disciplines and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information assets in accordance with established standards and procedures. Develops and maintains knowledgebase on changing regulatory, threat, and technology landscapes to continually develop or maintain security policies and standards and ensure compliance throughout the organization.

Prepares and delivers IA reports that address IA compliance and guidance IAW DI-MISC-80508. Prepares and delivers all RMF artifacts and documentation that address RMF activities IAW DI-ADMN-80239, to comply with DoD 8510.01 and DoDI 8510.01. Reviews IAVAs and ensure that IA related Information Systems (IS) are functional and secure within the Computing Environment (CE). Works in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.

Perform other duties as required. Job Requirements Mandatory: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent experience 5+ years of related professional experience Familiarity with conducting research and analysis Familiarity with network and information systems security principles and best practices CompTIA Security + CE Certification Current DOD Secret Security Clearance or ability to obtain one.
