We are seeking candidates with proven experience working with customers on a pre-sale level to understand requirements and pain points to clearly articulate a proposed solution to address the stated needs. Experience with solution selling is a plus as this position requires looking at business and technical challenges at a holistic level and then formulating robust solutions to close the sale.

We expect this person will:

  • During your second quarter, transition to become the primary SME for potential clients/partners; and successfully position PPS services internally/externally to position PPS to achieve its aggressive sales goals.

  • During your third quarter, work with PPS management, sales, marketing, & Practice Leads to develop a 2020 plan to drive sales growth and move PPS to increase recurring revenue.

  • Provide business intelligence/insight to Practice Leads to drive service integration and service evolution to uniquely position PPS services in the market.

  • Provide strong marketing support through content creation, blogging, and speaking engagements.

  • Actively promote PPS to prospective business partners by seeking new relationships to enhance business development.

The right person will have the following experience (these are somewhat negotiable):

  • Demonstrable experience growing business via strategic partnering/business development with 'C' level executives with the ability to communicate successful outcomes during interview

  • Experience with a variety of regulatory compliance frameworks our client base is subject to (e.g., ISO27001, SOC2, GDPR and Privacy, NIST, HIPAA, PCI-DSS)

  • Certifications that demonstrate to our clients our commitment to excellence in our craft: CCISO, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor, CISM CISSP a plus, not a requirement

  • In-depth knowledge of overall security industry trends, products and solutions, IT governance, risk management, and compliance requirements.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote,

  • Experience working in a highly consultative manner (e.g., in a consulting firm, or across business units/functions)

  • Strong analytical, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to present effectively to corporate executives and professionals on both technical and non-technical topics.

  • Active listener with ability to understand business challenges of C-level executives; discuss these challenges and prepare and present creative solutions.

  • Must be self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.

  • Thrives on and is worthy of self-managing the projects they are responsible for (micro-management is a four-letter word at PPS).

  • Highly consultative and collaborative nature; someone who enjoys helping others achieve ambitious business and information assurance goals.

  • A good sense of humor and the ability to laugh at themselves.
