This position will be assigned to work out of our home office in Bloomington, IL or our Central Office in Minneapolis, MN.

At COUNTRY Financial, our Identity Management Engineer ensures the planning, selection, build, and maintenance of high quality technology solutions (Single Sign-on and Multi-Factor Authentication) that meet defined and emerging business capability needs in a cost effective way. Partners with IT Security Analysts and Enterprise Architects to establish, understand, and adhere to technical and IT security standards. Involved in all aspects of the technology lifecycle to ensure that non-functional and functional requirements are adhered to in design and build so solutions are stable, secure, resilient, and perform well. Ensures that systems are maintained and supported to run effectively in production.

The person in this role ensures the planning, selection, build, and maintenance of high-quality technology solutions that meet defined and emerging business capability needs in a cost-effective way. Partners with IT Security Analysts and Enterprise Architects to establish, understand, and adhere to technical and IT security standards. Involved in all aspects of the technology lifecycle to ensure that non-functional and functional requirements are adhered to in design and built so solutions are stable, secure, resilient, and perform well. Ensures that systems are maintained and supported to run effectively in production.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, implement, and support COUNTRY's IT solutions.

  • Ensure IT solutions meet requirements for security, availability, capacity, resiliency, and performance in a way that is efficient and supportable, reducing overall support costs.

  • Understand industry leading solutions and trends for assigned technologies and applying those as appropriate for COUNTRY.

  • Understand business needs and partnering with appropriate IT counterparts to recommend technology solutions.

  • Establish and maintain an IT multi-year strategy with a focus on continuous improvement. Create and maintain solutions architecture artifacts and other strategy and system documentation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience administering a production environment of single sign-on/federation services, such as ForgeRock OpenAM, Tivoli Federated Identity Manager, Ping Identity, Auth0, Okta, Microsoft Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS).

  • Understanding of Unix/Linus based system administration.

  • Understanding of key aspects for SSO and federation components such as designing and implementing IDP & SP configurations as well as SAML and WS-Federations.

  • Scripting of SSO Server installation with custom configurations.

  • Experience leading the analysis, troubleshooting, and remediation of SSO outages in production environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Typically Requires:

  • Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years of experience in information technology experience OR,

  • Master's degree and at least 3 years of experience in information technology experience OR,

  • At least 7 years of experience in information technology experience.

Physical Requirements:

  • Normal office environment.

  • Work may extend beyond normal business hours as business needs dictate.

The IRS Visual Information Specialist (VIS) is part of a diversified team of professional Graphic Designers tasked with the assembly of graphical images, typography, and text content in an effective way that is strategic, accessible and aesthetically satisfying.
