A career in Information Security, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and support our internal security technologies and services across the entire global and local PwC network. You'll focus on being the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing information technology including hardware, software, and networks that enhances security of internal information and protect our firms intellectual assets.

Responsibilities

As a Senior Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers with extensive consulting and industry experience, helping our clients solve their complex business issues from strategy to execution. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Proactively assist in the management of several clients, while reporting to Managers and above

  • Train and lead staff

  • Establish effective working relationships directly with clients

  • Contribute to the development of your own and team's technical acumen

  • Keep up to date with local and national business and economic issues

  • Be actively involved in business development activities to help identify and research opportunities on new/existing clients

  • Continue to develop internal relationships and your PwC brand

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates thorough knowledge of, and/or proven record of success in, firm priorities, Network Information Security concepts, principles and standards and their application in a large enterprise environment, preferably for a global network of professional services firms, with emphasis in the following areas:

  • Understanding and leveraging information security policy and procedure development and maintenance (including security awareness and role-based security training);
  • Performing and maintaining formalized risk assessments;
  • Maintaining Insider Threat Awareness training process;
  • Implementing and overseeing a compliant Risk Management Strategy;
  • Providing insight to overall security strategies and evaluating organizational progress towards agreed upon goals, and finding solutions to complex issues in order to maintain timelines and achieve project success;
  • Developing and maintaining information security training and development programs;
  • Creating and maintaining effective business relationships;
  • Writing, communicating, facilitating and presenting cogently; to and/or for all levels of audiences, and internal staff and management;
  • Developing team building skills that foster an inclusive and collaborative environment for stakeholders and team members; and,
  • Collaborating with team members to create an atmosphere of trust, seeking diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation, answering questions and providing direction to less-experienced staff, coaching staff including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback.

Demonstrates thorough abilities, and/or proven record of success, supporting and/or coordinating Information Security Governance, preferably for a global network of professional services firms or matrixed environment, with emphasis in the following areas:

  • Identifying and addressing leadership and stakeholder needs;
  • Collaborating effectively with all levels of stakeholders and project resources to gather information for various project management activities, adapting strategy as needed;
  • Leveraging creative thinking, problem solving, and technology (i.e., MS Office Suite, Lotus Notes, Google at Work and other firm sponsored technologies) to develop deliverables and analyses;
  • Working independently on projects, influencing line manager by providing project and operational planning and implementation; and,
  • Keeping team and leadership informed on progress and or issues affecting deliverables and/or the department.

Overview Responsible for assessment of data sources and support of semantic layer models involved in production Business Intelligence. Technical liaison for Microsoft suite of Business Intelligence tools for production support, working closely with production support staff and business users on Business Intelligence issues. In the data source and modeling role, the Associate Architect will be responsible for the creation and deployment of data source connections as well as the semantic layer models, which define the available elements for Business Intelligence. Involved in projects with Business Intelligence components, responsible for delivery of Business Intelligence components within the project. The role will also support Business Intelligence tool use throughout the company, delivering informational content, training, and guidance in the use and best practice of the suite of tools deployed. In the technical liaison role, the Associate Architect will collaborate with other IT staff and business users to ensure the production environment meets the needs and demands of the company. This includes support for the Production Support staff in troubleshooting daily activity. Main office space is available in East Petersburg, PA with satellite working office space available in Philadelphia, PA a few days per week. Responsibilities Essential Duties * Assist in creation of Data Science and Visualization educational training modules geared toward enabling others. * Provide input and assist in growing communities of interest in visualization and analytics. * Collaborate with development teams to build machine learning production pipelines and data delivery models. * Update and maintain list of available data sources for report developers. Provide Business Intelligence support for business users. Train, coach, and support Business Intelligence users. Profile, analyze, and assess Business Intelligence problems. * Maintain Business Intelligence object repository and controls. Implement and maintain Business Intelligence usage standards and controls. Enforce policies and processes needed to improve and maintain the quality of business intelligence. * Implement Business Intelligence controls. Monitor conformance with data standards, policies, and procedures. Manage and resolve data related issues and conflicts. Monitor and ensure regulatory compliance. Establish and monitor documentation standards and repositories. * Implementing the Business Intelligence capabilities for projects that have a reporting or analytics component. Work with Database Administrators, BAs and Business Intelligence Architect assigned to the project. Build and test Business Intelligence model and reporting sources. Build new or modify existing reports as needed. * Develop and maintain semantic models. Preserve existing models and sources to production standards.
