Responsibilities:

  • Provides Vulnerability and Threat Management process coordination and risk management which supports technology and lines-of business within the Corporation.

  • Works closely with other operational and engineering verticals on security projects and work with the operations teams to ensure successful deployment of security-related initiatives.

  • Communicates and interacts directly with other staff to ensure optimal individual and group performance.

  • Executes tasks or lead small projects as needed.

Requirements:

  • Familiarity with systems security and compliance issues, network vulnerabilities, security management techniques and products.

  • Candidate should demonstrate ability to perform data mining. -Analysis and presentation using MS Excel and Access tools is required.

  • Excellent communication skills, be able to coordinate global group meetings and be able to develop strong, supportive working relationships with disparate functional groups (e.g., engineering, operations, and customer).

  • Experience writing documentation, presentations is required.

  • 2+ years working in IT Security.

  • Basic knowledge of CVSS Scoring.

  • Strong communication and judgment skills, analytical ability.

  • Attention to detail and the ability to work effectively with clients, IT management and Staff.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Ability to communicate technical issues to technical and non-technical business representatives.

  • Basic understanding and skills in conducting technical analysis of potential vulnerabilities.

  • Ability to coordinate response actions, and disseminate technical information as appropriate.

  • Well organized, reliable, ability to work independently and comfortable in the handling of time sensitive information.

  • Dedicated and self-driven desire to learn.

This position will report to the head of Security State Management. This role is a key business enabler to provide information security risk analysis and strategic recommendations for the ongoing improvement of Information Security. Qualifications Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems/related technical field or equivalent work experience * 5+ years of experience working in an information security, information technology, or information risk management related field. * Expert in writing and executing queries in Microsoft SQL Server. * Working knowledge of one or more patch management or vulnerability management tools required. * Demonstrated experience building and managing vulnerability management programs * Ability to brief technical risks and issues to executives and business leaders * Demonstrated ability to lead the development of specific proactive procedures for the detection of security breaches across a large enterprise network * Demonstrated experience working with senior management on highly sensitive projects that require the utmost discretion and maintaining strict confidentiality on all data, records, and tasks as required * Possession of industry certifications highly preferred. Including, but not limited to, Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), and Global Information Assurance Certification (GIAC).
