Right now, we areseeking a Senior Information Security Analyst, OKTA based atWestern Union's Global Headquarters location in Denver, Colorado.

In this role, you willbe the application administrator for the OKTA SSO/Identity Provider systemunder the direction of the OKTA Architect to help expand the OKTA system atWestern Union. You'll be responsible for working with the user community toinsure proper utilization of the OKTA processes and tools. This key positionwill be part of the overall Identity and Access Management organization andreport to the IAM Senior Manager.

  • Drive the adoption of the OKTAbest practices for Western Union to include Single Sign On, Multi FactorAuthentication, application configuration and support

  • Administer the OKTA applicationto support ongoing SSO and MFA functionality and usage

  • Serve as a technical expert forenterprise OKTA operations and use.

  • Provide technical guidance tothe internal IT teams and recommend and/or take action to direct theanalysis and solutions required.

  • Occasionally perform useridentity administration as well as maintenance of user security roles andprofiles.

  • Be the primary driver of OKTAapplication support including troubleshooting and triaging issues,monitoring system health, deploying enhancements, performing configurationchanges in the production environment, coordinating with key stakeholdersfrom IT operations, business teams and/or third-party vendors for OKTArelated initiatives

What you will need tosucceed:

  • Bachelor's degreein computing / information systems or 1-2 years of information securityexperience is required

  • Strong understanding of SSOconcepts SAML, Radius, with a preference for experience with OKTA

  • Experience administrating the

Multifactor Authentication (MFA) system

  • Experience with MicrosoftWindows, Active Directory and LDAP

  • Knowledge with various network,DNS, web, VPN and perimeter protection technologies preferred

  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, network packetsanalysis, firewall technology, IDS/IPS technology

  • Knowledge ofWAN/LAN/Cloud networking concepts and familiarity with Cloudinfrastructure in general

  • Knowledge of the PasswordManagement system (One-Identity Password Manager)

VIEW JOBS 7/18/2019 12:00:00 AM 2019-10-16T00:00 Department Information Information Technology Services (ITS) The ITS unit exists to provide comprehensive information technology delivery and support in the form of personnel, desktop and mobile computing, multi-media equipment, hardware, network infrastructure, software, telephone and network cabling services to the University community. This unit is the centralized computing services department for the University. Reporting to the Executive Director of IT, the Information Security Administrator has the lead role in analysis, development, and implementation of network, system and cyber security safeguards, raising of security awareness, monitoring and response services, and policies for the campus, and functions as an authority of information security expertise. This position works with the ITS leadership team to develop security strategy, systems processes, guidelines, rules and standards that are mission critical and directly impact the department's operations. The mission of the Information Security Administrator role as defined by the core functions defined by the NIST-CSWP: * Identify - Develop an organizational understanding to manage information security risk to systems, people, assets, data, and capabilities. * Protect - Develop and implement appropriate safeguards to ensure delivery of critical services. * Detect - Develop and implement appropriate activities to identify the occurrence of an information security event. * Respond - Develop and implement appropriate activities to take action regarding a detected information security incident. * Recover - Develop and implement appropriate activities to maintain plans for resilience and to restore any capabilities or services that were impaired due to a information security incident. Description of Job Primary Duties * Oversees campus IT security applications including centralized firewalls, authentication servers, load-balancers, network infrastructure, secure remote access and security event management. * Interacts with the campus community as an IT security consultant. This may be through involvement in the various campus committees; the Information Security Working Group (administration), the Information Technology Board (faculty), the IT Governance Committee (campus wide), or with departmental IT staff as required. Also provides security training and advice to departmental managers, staff and faculty. * Conducts security audits for all aspects of campus network security. Develops tools to test for security-related policy compliance. Responds to IT security incidents, and works with campus IT administrators to conduct IT security risk assessments, to include conducting network security scanning and malware detection/mitigation. * Reviews and updates IT security plans and policies, ensuring compliance with State, Federal and International guidelines and legislation as required. * Ensure that all security upgrades to hardware and software are implemented in a timely manner, staying current with releases, while maintaining the integrity of the technology environments implemented. Manages campus anti-virus software. * Professional development and research to stay current with emerging security technology to improve and strengthen the overall security integrity of the campus technology environment. * Performs other duties as related to ITS and NSS, and as assigned by supervisor.
