NorthShore Resources has a Contract opportunity for an Information Security Analyst in Minneapolis, MN!
We are recruiting for an Information Security Analyst responsible for Active Directory Federation Services (ADFS) integration of web applications for Single Sign-On due to DXC EXIT work. In this role, you will migrate Active Directory(AD) in the cloud, test out various integrations via ADFS and AWS SSO and develop Active Directory RBAC for Azure and AWS via PowerShell Scripting.
Location: Downtown Minneapolis, MN
  • Experience as an Information Security Analyst
  • Experience with Active Directory or Privileged Account Management
  • Understanding of Powershell and creating Powershell scripts for automation
  • Knowledge of industry protocol standards such as LDAP, SAML, WS-Federation, OAuth, OpenID
  • Experience with ADFS integration of cloud solutions
  • Understanding of complex business and information technology management processes
  • Clear understanding of the best practices for defining solution architectures
  • Experience with Provisioning, Workflow Processes, Access Management Technologies (ex. Authentication, Authorization and Entitlements), Data Security and Privacy
  • Experience with Database access, Role Based Access Controls design and methodology
  • Regulatory compliance knowledge (ex. SOX)
  • Knowledge of ServiceNow and SNOW AP for automation of ITIL tasks
  • Large enterprise environment with 100k objects in AD
  • Experience related to Federation/Single Sign-On and privileged access management
Identity Management experience in the following areas:
  • Migrating to AD in the cloud, testing out various integrations
  • SME In Active Directory, with RBAC and KPI
  • Understanding of Azure cloud, Azure AD and how to create users and groups and grant access
  • Self starter with the ability to drive situations and work independently
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work with a team
  • Strong trouble shooting skills
  • Responsible for ADFS integration of web applications for Single Sign-On due to DXC EXIT work.
  • Migrate AD in the cloud, test out various integrations via ADFS and AWS SSO and developing Active Directory RBAC for Azure and AWS via PowerShell Scripting.
Role duration is estimated to be 12 months with potential for extension.

This role will participate in on-going operational activities that serve to establish appropriate access to and provide the appropriate protection, confidentiality, integrity and availability of enterprise systems and data through effective security controls. This role is also responsible for validating compliance with policies and standards that keep Ameriprise applications and infrastructure safe and secure from vulnerabilities. Responsibilities Operations Support * Partner with other support teams and vendors to resolve problems or implement new products or services. * Escalate key security issues to the appropriate team to be addressed. * Assist with security assurance testing activities. Information Security Governance * Monitor compliance with information security policies and practices and any applicable laws. * Assist with internal and external security risk assessments, risk analysis and application or system-level vulnerability testing and reviews. * Monitor, assess and document vendor compliance with Ameriprise security requirements. Policy/Procedure Management * Assist with the research, development, continuous improvement and implementation of security policies, procedures, standards and processes based on compliance requirements and industry best practices. * Document the Ameriprise information security requirements, processes and procedures. Reporting * Prepare status reports on information security matters that are used for a variety of purposes - including vendor security assessment and risk management & reporting. * Effectively manage and prioritize ad-hoc reporting requests, scorecards and standard departmental reporting. * Coordinate with internal team and external auditors to provide documentation of compliance assessments, support and remediation activities. Education * Maintain and develop knowledge of regulatory security trends, new security technologies and best practices. * Conduct security and industry specific research to keep self and the firm abreast of the latest security issues and regulatory developments that may impact existing policies, procedures and practices. * Participate in information security education, training and awareness activities for technology and business teams. Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science or related technical field; or equivalent work experience. * 3-5 years of relevant experience. * 3+ years of experience in information security or related technical field. * Broad work experience that spans one or more of the information security functions - policy development, education, executing penetration testing and application vulnerability assessments, risk analysis and compliance testing. * Working knowledge of information security and computer network/system access technologies. * Experience working in the financial services industry or other highly regulated/compliance oriented environments. * Effective verbal and written communication skills that include the ability to describe highly technical concepts in non-technical terms.
