The Information Security Analyst Intermediate manages access to all major healthcare systems and user domain at UAMS, ensuring accurate and timely account creation/termination and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements with focused efforts on provisioning for the Epic EHR/ERP system and Payor Claims, Prior Authorization, and Billing systems/websites.

ERP Security Administrator expert for account creation, de-provisioning, and maintenance for all major healthcare systems and user domain at UAMS, ensuring accurate and timely account creation/termination and compliance with HIPAA and other regulatory requirements with focused efforts on provisioning for the Epic EHR/ERP system.
Acts as contact for IT Security in all matters of Security questions, incidents, or responses as in accordance with UAMS policies and procedures.
Prepares and/or maintains systems and operations documentation, procedures, and methods including user manuals and reference manuals for IT Security.
Maintains current documentation library by scanning documents for IT Security.
Responds to Technical Support Center calls for assistance with Security related issues.
Maintains knowledge levels in Epic Security to become and act as expert in provisioning and maintaining proper access for UAMS care givers to the patient care applications necessary for great patient centered care.
Other duties as assigned.
OR - Associate degree in Business, Computer or related field of study plus five (5) years of work experience in general IT related field
OR - High School diploma plus seven (7) years of work experience in general IT related field.
May be required to be on-call and to respond immediately to trouble calls outside of normal work schedule.
Work regularly requires in excess of eight hours per day.
This position must complete on-line training in the Epic Security Coordinator tract and demonstrate general knowledge by scoring 80 percent or above on a UAMS developed proficiency exam within first 90 days of employment.
Ability to use Microsoft Office tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Position must have experience with or demonstrate abilities to manage user enrollments/registrations on Payor Claims, Prior Authorization, and Billing systems/websites.
Two 2 years of experience with administrative HIPAA regulatory controls.
Two 2 years of experience working in a hospital or 30+ provider clinic in an IT, business, or clinical setting.
