SUMMARY

The Information Security Analyst III will support CDES by managing risk posture, technical implementation, and broader information security strategies.

As a federal contractor, CNI is a drug-free workplace and adheres to the Federal Controlled Substance Act.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top-Secret clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide expertise, knowledge, understanding, support and implementation of all phases of the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and A&A life cycle.

Provide security engineering to the Government and execute A&A activities for development, test, and production systems to maintain compliance with DoD 8500 series publication.

Maintain current SOPs in support of obtaining, testing, and coordinating the deployment and implementation of all patches.

Coordinate with the Government specified A&A team to mitigate and/or remediate security defects in a timely manner.

Develop a Plan of Action and Milestone (POA&M) addressing the timeline for remediation and the observable milestones of progress.

Maintain the Life-cycle A&A Plan that addresses the process, procedures, and timing of A&A activities for configuration items across the anticipated life cycle of the product(s).

Provide Information System Security Officer support for the CDES program.

Plans daily activities within the guidelines of company policy, job description and supervisor's instruction in such a way as to maximize personal output.

Responsible for aiding in own self-development by being available and receptive to all training made available by the company.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field or equivalent experience. Advanced degree preferred. Minimum of seven (7) years of related experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit.

Regularly required use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms to handle objects and operate tools, computer, and/or controls. Required to speak and hear. Occasionally required to stand, walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.  Exposed to general office noise with computers printers and light traffic.
