Position Summary:

The Information Security Analyst II provides accurate and timely administration, monitoring, and reporting of systems and potential risks related to the company. In addition, the position will support the banks firewall administration & change management, provide email support, and educate Stakeholders on how to keep the company in compliance with regulations and policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for information security related education and awareness initiatives for the company, ensures Stakeholders are informed of expectations and processes at a corporate and departmental level

  • Coordinate, monitor and test the Corporation's information security controls, including Spam wall and Firewall administration to ensure compliance with the Information Security Policy; prepares management reports on results and remediation

  • Ensures appropriate planning, documentation, scheduling, and testing of the Corporation's Information Security Program and Policy to include GLBA, Dodd Frank and other regulatory programs

  • Oversight of daily administration of information security systems that includes firewalls, spam filtering, SIEM, and other perimeter security systems

  • Leads the Cybersecurity vulnerability remediation efforts for network devices and systems

  • Reviews the firewall ticketing system and document effective change management controls

  • Maintains the current information/documentation to support the Corporation's FDICIA/SOX reporting, internal audits, and regulatory reviews

  • Authenticates email administration (SPF, DKIM, DMARC)

  • Maintains DLP (Data Loss Prevention) measures across company systems

  • Technical project lead for Information Security strategic initiatives

  • Occasional night and weekend support

Basic Qualifications:

  • Degree from a four-year college or university

  • 3-5 years of related experience and/or training, or the equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with development, implementation, operation, and testing of information technology within the financial industry

  • Experience with log aggregation tools such as Security Incident Event Management (SIEM)

  • Advanced Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory (AD)

  • Ability to write data queries and perform data manipulation

  • Moderate to advanced skills with MS Excel

  • DNSSec understanding/experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CISSP preferred

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong communication skills; ability to effectively present information in a classroom environment

  • Technical writing skills

  • Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community

  • Project Management skills

  • Network and Hardware Troubleshooting Skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Able to work Independently and have ability prioritize & triage tasks
