Rite-Solutions, Inc., a growing and innovative CMMI Level III software and systems engineering company, is seeking skilled and motivated Information Assurance/Cybersecurity Analyst candidates in the Middletown, RI area.
Rite-Solutions is seeking an Information Assurance /Cybersecurity Analyst providing support for a government program as well as company-wide cyber security initiatives. The Analyst will manage, create and process authorization packages working with program managers, system engineers and developers to obtain accreditation for US Navy information systems, primarily with Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) systems.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
The Cybersecurity Analyst reports to the Cybersecurity lead and appropriate project managers while performing the following duties:
In performing System Security Accreditation, the Analyst shall prepare and develop the system's/network's security, accreditation, and certification documentation related to the build out of the secure and non-secure voice and data systems/networks.
Analyst must act as interface between Government IA teams and program personnel
Familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and applications such as Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS), Enterprise Mission Assurance Support (eMASS), Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Familiarity with DoDI 8500.1, DoDI 8510.01 Risk Management Framework
C&A and/or A&A experience
Analyst must assist the program manager and technical program personnel through the process of implementing security controls, creating documentation and working the documentation through the process.
Analyst must collect usable security metrics in order to appropriately configure/tailor security monitoring tools
Analyst must be comfortable reviewing and analyzing real-time and historical security related data
Analyst must assist the Information System Security Manager (ISSM) in duties related to information system accreditation and sustainment
Candidate must possess or have the ability to acquire within 30 days, the CompTIA Security + certification
Excellent communication skills required
Position requires U.S. Citizenship
Ability to obtain a security clearance with the US government; active security clearance preferred
Military or government experience preferred but not necessary
