Responsibilities

The NiFi project requires a Senior ISSE who can perform on the project as a true Security Engineer in a more advanced level beyond the typical duties of an ISSO. A successful candidate will have experience building Information Assurance into systems (NiFi software and hardware) deployed to an operation environment. Ability to support the building of security architectures, enforce the design and implementation of trusted relations among external systems and architectures securing virtual cloud based systems. The team member will work with project SA's, SE's and software developers assisting in the identification and implementation of appropriate information security functionality to ensure uniform application of Agency security policy and enterprise solutions. Experience with Docker / Kubernetes software environment and AWS would be preferred. The candidate will work with the team in developing and securing the Next Gen NiFi, cloud based - Docker/K8 running within AWS that will occur over the next 1-2 years. The ISSE will be instrumental guiding the team through all the security requirements in this new architecture and design. The candidate should also be able to evaluate the current software and systems architecture and make recommendations to it's security posture as we make plans to move to the cloud. In addition to the LCAT requirements the project requires;

• Knowledge and experience with agency processes, procedures and protocols for deploying and maintaining virtual cloud based systems

• Knowledge and experience with AWS, VPC, IAM/MFA, Kubernetes, Docker, Linux CentOS7, RHEL8

Qualifications

You must have the below qualifications to be considered:

• Active TS/SCI security clearance with current polygraph is required

• Fourteen (14) years experience as an ISSE on programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required

• Four (4) years of ISSE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.

• DoD 8570.01-M compliance with IASAE Level 2 is required

• CISSP Certification is required.

Target Salary Range

$146,000 - $234,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
