Experience with collecting and analyzing data, to include transferring files using FTP

Experience with claims processing/payments and enrollment/eligibility of members

Experience using reporting software, excel spreadsheets and access databases

Must be detail oriented and possess strong time managements skills


Monday - Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Job Summary

This position exists to provide information for performance monitoring and decision-making. This includes query development, report production and data analysis.

Incumbent must apply business or clinical knowledge, interpret results and compile information into appropriate formats for audience. The incumbent may also provide assistance with maintenance and use of a software application or serve as a resource to other application users.

Essential Functions

  • Collects and analyzes data from multiple areas, identifies patterns and prepares presentation of results.

  • Validates data to ensure integrity and consistency across multiple report and data sources. Review data for problem identification and significance. Maintain a working knowledge of standards related to industry or area.

  • Creates, tests, implements, maintains and/or documents databases, depending on assigned area may design documents and databases.

  • Maintains a working knowledge and ability to configure and troubleshoot applications/equipment used in providing data. Utilizes data in the most efficient manner and presents data in the most effective and appropriate display for the intended audience.

  • Acts as resource to management and peers on use of information and/or application based on area of expertise.

Minimum Qualifications

Strong knowledge of reporting, data analysis and information presentation, as could be obtained by completion of a Bachelor's degree or significant business or clinical experience providing information and analysis to all levels of management.

Requires good working knowledge of PCs and software, including word-processing, spreadsheet, query/report writing and presentation applications.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional related education and/or experience preferred.

Writes, revises, and verifies quality standards and test procedures to attain quality of software efficiency and functionality. Serves as the initial client support resource for all support issues referred to the development team(s). Essential Functions: * Tests computer programs for validity of results, accuracy, reliability, and conformance to established standards. * Executes smoke, regression, compatibility and other appropriate test scenarios as required by development scope. * Develops data queries to assist with diagnosing system issues and errors. * Proactively reviews computer logs to identify program processing errors. * Documents and communicates all known application issues. * Prioritizes and escalates support and QA issues appropriately. * Maintains knowledge of systems functionality at a level required to execute assignments effectively. * Recommends program improvements or corrections to programmers. * Responds to client complaints and help desk tickets related to application issues and errors. * Sets up tests at request of clients to diagnose application errors. * Trains clients in application execution and functionality. * Work safely at all times. Adhere to all applicable safety policies. Comply with all company policies, procedures and standards. Education and Experience: * Bachelor degree in information systems or equivalent experience. * Minimum 3 years experience in software testing, test planning, and test case creation, or user software support. * Experience with writing data queries using Structured Query Language (SQL). * Proficiency in MS Windows, MS Office and mobile devices. * Preferred experience with automated testing tools. * Current driver's license. * Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write) in English.
