KPMG is currently seeking an Informatica Developer to join our Digital Nexus organization. This is a remote work opportunity.


  • Provide support in the design, development, test deploy and documentation of projects data quality procedures and its outputs

  • Accountable for analysis, planning, data modelling, development and deployment and operational support of Informatica MDM/DQ based projects; document at a functional level how the procedures work within the data quality applications

  • Implement data quality processes including translation, parsing, analysis, standardization, and enrichment at point of entry and batch modes; deploy mappings that will run in a scheduled, batch, or real-time environment

  • Document all mappings, mapplets, and rules in detail and hand over documentation to the customer; Perform thorough data profiling with multiple usage patterns, root cause analysis and data cleansing and develop scorecards utilizing Informatica

  • Collaborate with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of these rules if applicable, then design and develop these rules with IDQDesign and develop custom objects and rules, reference data tables and create/import/export mappings

  • Develop "matching" plans, help determine best matching algorithm, configure identity matching, and analyze duplicates


  • Minimum three years of hands-on experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)/MDM toolset (Version 10.x preferred) and proficiency in IDQ development around data profiling, cleansing, parsing, standardization, verification, matching and data quality exception monitoring and handling

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university is preferred; Informatica Certifications (IDQ, MDM, BDQ, MDM Hub Administrator, Hub Developer, Informatica Developer)

  • Excellent knowledge on Informatica platform as a whole and the integration among different Informatica components and services

  • Experience installing, configuring, administering, tuning, and troubleshooting any one or more Informatica products: Informatica Data Quality, Master Data Management (MDM), Big Data Management (BDM), Big Data Quality (BDQ), Enterprise Data Catalog (EDC), or AXON

  • Good understanding of data governance principals and strong experience on data quality development and issue management and remediation; complete understanding of code promotion activities and best practices

  • Experience with multiple data platforms including HortonWorks Hadoop, Oracle and SQL Server

This position is part of PNC's C&IB MIS Data Management/Business Intelligence organization. As a Data Engineer, you will work closely with business partners, developers and other stakeholders to perform activities related to data analysis, data architecture, data modeling and code development. You will also prepare design artifacts enabling developers to build ETL code and/or dashboards and will work with other team members to ensure the overall quality of team deliverables. Additionally, you will lead efforts to migrate code to higher environments and supervise production support activities. Due to the nature of the position, preferred candidates will have knowledge of/a background with the following: * Experience working with large scale/enterprise wide Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence projects * In depth knowledge of data mart design and dimensional modeling. * Strong data analysis and database development skills (SQL and PL/SQL) on Teradata, Oracle etc. * Experience with one or more BI reporting tools like Tableau, OBIEE, etc. * Experience working with the Agile methodology * Experience with Commercial Banking data, systems or processes will be a plus * Experience with designing and developing ETL systems in Informatica, etc. will be a plus * Experience with data analysis and preparing Source to Target Mapping (STM) documents * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts and requirements to technical staff and business partners * Ability to multi-task and work in a high-paced development environment Job Description * Develops, supports and implements data services for multiple applications to meet business objectives and user requirements.
