Cognizant is looking for Informatica Developer to join our Artificial Intelligence and Analytics practice (AIA). In this role, you will use Informatica software to design data storage systems to provide our clients with faster insight into their business. You will load, test and troubleshoot data and analyze and test data warehousing systems. In addition, you will be responsible for resolving any issues with the systems as well as creating technical documentation outlining the design, troubleshooting and repair steps.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Help development teams to maintain the mapping / requirement document, ETL design documents, Unit Test cases, code repository and other relevant documents.

  • Coordinate with application team and develop all ETL processes.

  • Manage data related requests, analyze issues and provide efficient resolution Design all program specifications and perform required tests.

  • Prepare codes for all modules according to require specification.

  • Monitor all production issues and inquiries and provide efficient resolution

  • Evaluate all functional requirements and map documents and perform troubleshoot on all development processes.

  • Collaborate with application groups to prepare effective solutions for all programs.

  • Documents all technical specifications and associate project deliverables.

  • Design all test cases to provide support to all systems and perform unit tests.

Position Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other STEM programs preferred

  • 7+ years of experience in Technical field (IE Software Development, Java, SQL, C#)

  • SQL and Unix Shell Scripting knowledge

  • 7+ years of experience in Informatica, data warehousing and SQL queries

  • Must have strong communications kills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to collaborate, and build relationships and drive successful results through partnerships and collaboration across departments.

  • Flexibility and a can-do attitude with an orientation to positive outcomes.

  • Self-starter and able to work independently.

  • Sound judgment and excellent problem solving skills in handling balanced, complex issues.
