The Infection Prevention Master#s in Public Health (IP MPH) Fellow works under the guidance of the IP MPH Fellowship Coordinator and assists Infection Preventionists and Epidemiologists in various duties including, but not limited to, hospital acquired infection review and follow-up, management of transmission-based precautions, patient and staff education, environment of care rounds and follow up, construction risk assessments and rounds, policy review and revision, process improvement efforts, and limited hospital acquired infection surveillance. Occasionally collaborates with Safety Coordinators, Quality Specialists, Microbiology Lab Specialists, and Environmental Services and Facility leaders. # Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a health-related field and be enrolled in a Masters of Public Health Masters of Science in Public Health or Masters of Health Administration program.

GPA of 3.00 or above and completion of a medical terminology course is preferred. Three years of work experience in any field and/or completion of internship in health-related field is preferred. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

Ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills and will be an efficient and effective problem solver. Must be able to work flexible hours if necessary. Ability to effectively facilitate educational sessions to various audiences.
