Participates in performance improvement efforts related to Infection Prevention and Control Programs.
Performs Infection Control surveillance, consultation and risk assessments and promotes quality outcomes.
Assists in the development and evaluation of clinical guidelines, policies and procedures relevant to the Infection Control programs.
Proficiently engages staff in rounds to evaluate integration of Infection Control practices in all clinical areas.
Participates in the organization and performance of Infection Control educational activities.
Contributes to the creation of and presents accurate Infection Prevention and Control data analytics with recommendations and reports to the Infection Control Committee, Quality Management and others as required
Functions proficiently in data management and analysis in areas related to the assigned roles and responsibilities.
Contributes to the formulation of Infection Control outcomes for groups of patients, staff and the organization.
Assists in the generation, evaluation and management in a data base, critical surveillance and compliance statistical data and information.
Participates in interdisciplinary groups promoting decisions that positively impact the program, services, and/or medical center. Collaborates with peers and leaders to evaluate various outcomes based on strategic priorities. Functions as a change agent, actively participating in assisting peers through the change process.
Demonstrates leadership skills in effectively coordinating interdisciplinary teams to meet Performance Measures.
Provides proficient consultation and direct interventions for infection risk assessment, prevention and control strategies.
Infection Control RNBackground:
Valid, unrestricted state Registered Nurse (R.N.) license is required.
Requires Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.S.N.).
Certification in Infection Prevention and Control(C.I.C.) or relevant training preferred.
Requires 5 years acute care clinical nursing experience, with at least1 year experience as an Infection Control Preventionist.
Around 5 years of increasing leadership responsibilities required.
Prefer specialized training in a process improvement and performance excellence frameworks.
Basic computer skills to include Microsoft Word, Excel, database use, and basic data entry.
Strong oral and written communication skills; ability to interact within all levels of the organization as well as with external contacts.
Must be able to prioritize, plan, and handle multiple tasks/demands simultaneously.
Candidates must be fully bilingual (read & write) in both English andSpanish.

The Quality Control (QC) Specialist provides Chemistry and Biochemistry expertise at a site. This includes technical writing, routine testing, and all other associated activities. The QC Specialist responsibilities include, but are not limited to, training, sampling, routine testing, method qualification/validations, investigations, and technical writing. A potential candidate will possess a strong understanding of QC testing techniques. Additional responsibilities include adherence to all GMP requirements, a basic understanding of FDA/EMEA regulations, effective interactions/communication with Quality management, and personal development. The QC Specialist may also support the Manager for activities related to interviewing and training of employees, compliance with GMP, and identifying and implementing corrective and preventive actions. The QC Specialist should be able to work effectively within the group, within Quality, and across site.
* Perform Chemistry and Biochemistry testing, including PCR and/or Next Generation Sequencing (NGS)
* Serve as subject matter expert in this area representing Quality Control during audits and inspections.
* Review and trend data and publish quarterly and annual trend reports.
* Conduct thorough investigations to determine root cause of OOS investigations and other non-conforming results and implement appropriate corrective and preventative actions in a timely manner.
* Liaise with other departments including Quality Assurance, Manufacturing and Facilities to address compliance issues and to implement corrective actions and to improve programs.
* Participate in assay troubleshooting, qualification and validation.
* Manage the use and maintenance of scientific equipment and instrumentation, computer systems.
* Write and revise documents such as SOPs and technical reports.
* Minimum B.A. or B.S. in scientific related field.
* Minimum of 5 years in a GMP Quality Control laboratory.
* Prefer candidates with Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) experience
* Working knowledge of multiple assays.
* Experience with method validation and qualification.
* Experience leading small teams and projects.
* Self-reliant, a good problem solver and results-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
* An excellent and persuasive communicator.
* Energetic, flexible, collaborative and proactive.
