Job Description:
As an Infant Teacher, your primary responsibility is to provide a nurturing and stimulating environment for infants (typically aged six weeks to 12 months). You will play a pivotal role in the early development of infants, fostering a secure attachment, and promoting sensory and motor skill development. In addition to providing excellent care, you will be actively involved in the development and implementation of an age-appropriate curriculum that supports the holistic growth of infants.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Curriculum Development:
Develop and implement a developmentally-appropriate curriculum for infants that focuses on sensory experiences, motor skills, and social-emotional development.
Plan and execute age-appropriate activities that stimulate infants' cognitive and physical growth.
2.Individualized Care:
Provide individualized care and attention to each infant's unique needs, including feeding, diapering, and napping schedules.
Foster a secure and trusting relationship with infants to support their emotional well-being.
3.Parent Communication:
Establish and maintain open communication with parents, sharing daily updates and milestones.
Conduct parent-teacher conferences to discuss infants' developmental progress and address any concerns.
4.Health and Safety:
Ensure a safe and hygienic environment for infants, following health and safety guidelines.
Monitor and address any health-related issues promptly, communicating effectively with parents.
5.Classroom Management:
Create a warm, clean, and organized classroom environment conducive to infant development.
Implement effective classroom management strategies, considering the unique needs of infants.
6.Collaboration:
Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
Participate in team meetings, professional development, and training sessions.
7.Documentation and Assessment:
Maintain accurate records of each infant's daily activities, including feeding, diapering, and developmental milestones.
Conduct ongoing assessments to track individual progress and share findings with parents.
8.Professional Development:
Stay informed about best practices in infant care and early childhood education.
Pursue opportunities for professional development to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
Qualifications:
Relevant experience working with infants in an educational setting.
High School Diploma or Higher
CPR and first aid certification ( certification)
FBI Fingerprinting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, flexibility, and a genuine passion for working with infants.
Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
