Job Requirements

Child Care Teachers must pass state and company background checks. Experience and educational requirements include:

  • At least six months of experience working with children in a professional setting.

  • At least 18 years of age and a high school diploma or GED.

  • Early childhood coursework, CDA or degree preferred.

Full-time and part-time positions available.

As the Associate Director, Murex Development Lead / Architect, you will serve as the Front Office Development Lead for a major Murex implementation within Capital Markets; it will be the lead role for the Front Office Murex IT team. This is a critical part of the core Murex IT team commissioned to deliver critical FO technology for FX, Rates and Credit businesses. The implementation is a complete front to back platform renewal program created to meet both business and regulatory mandates. The primary responsibility of this role will be to manage and deliver technology for the Flow Rates Trading business. As the FO Development lead the position will have the opportunity to work closely with various FO/BO businesses and technology teams. The position requires an in-depth Murex technical background and an expert knowledge in Capital Markets products and Trade processing. What will you do? * Act as the Front Office Development Lead and Solution Architect, responsible for managing a team of 3-6 developers. * Ensure the team follows processes and standards set forth by FICC IT and CM IT. Constantly assess the overall quality of the team and drive change for continuous improvement. * Recruit, retain and develop top talent. Work closely with your team to establish individual goals, improve performance and support career development. * Devise strategy and execution plans for Murex implementation, review day-to-day assignments and ensure all delivery remains on track and on budget. * Partner with FIC and Capital Markets Technology Architects to design architecture sound solutions. * Work closely with the Front Office and business to prioritize work, understand requirements and allocate resources. What do you need to succeed? Requirements: * Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or Finance or equivalent practical experience * 10+ years Murex platform hands-on experience is a must, especially in Front Office related modules (GOM, Market Data, Curves, Models, Livebook, Simulation/Scenarios, Valuation, PnL and PnL Decomposition, eTradePad, Pre-Trade rules) * Experience with a variety of capital markets products including Rates Derivatives/Cash, Credit Derivatives. Thorough understanding analytics, risk and P&L * Experience dealing with senior FO stakeholders & prioritizing development * Experience in driving requirements planning/facilitation & detailed analysis * Experience in designing functional flows and high level architecture * Experience developing, maintaining, deploying, and supporting FO trading system applications * Possess a thorough understanding of FO, MO and BO business process flows * Knowledge of securities reference data across multiple asset classes such as FX, Bonds, Mortgages and Commodities * Experience in executing various development methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, etc. * Strong project management skills; proficient in PM software such as Microsoft Project Proficiency in Excel, Project, Visio and Word * Working knowledge of SQL and the execution of db queries * Demonstrate a collaborative approach; the ability to build and maintain a solid technical team * Motivated individual, must have the ability to own and drive projects from start to finish * Must have exceptional analytical and problem solving skills; ability to break a problem into well-defined, manageable tasks * Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal * Ability to communicate detail at the level appropriate for the audience * Ability to effectively prioritize work and cope with changing priorities * Ability to work effectively within global team * Ability to liaise with numerous stakeholders * Abides by the RBCCM Code of Conduct Preferred: * Master Degree on Financial Engineering or Applied Statistics or related fields * Capital markets experience support FO Trading, and BO Operations are strongly preferred * People management and/or project management experience is highly desired * Understanding and experience with of back office modules, post trade workflow, interfaces are highly desired What's in it for you?
