Make a difference and improve the lives of those in need as an Infant Family Therapist with our Venice Family Clinic. Our clinic provides primary medical and mental health care to the community of Los Angeles. Within the clinic is a robust Behavioral Health program that houses social workers, domestic violence specialists, substance use staff and case management. This Clinical Specialist will be a therapist for a comprehensive early childhood program, which includes providing clinical interventions using home-based infant mental health treatment with pre-natal parents, and postpartum infant-caregiver dyads to support healthy attachment and development. Work can include crisis intervention and will consist of collaboration with case management and medical providers. This therapist will focus on BH interventions and touches throughout our pre/postnatal program. In this role you will also work closely with the Pediatric Case Manager to provide comprehensive and collaborative care with outside agencies to support families' Community Resource needs.
Salary Range: $71,500.00 - $154,900.00 Annually
Senate Bill 525 was signed into law by Governor Newsom in October 2023. Starting June 1, 2024, SB525 sets a new $23 minimum wage for nonexempt healthcare workers and raises the exempt employee salary threshold to $1,380/week (equivalent to $5,980/month or $71,760/year).

Required:
Master's degree in Psychology AND California Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (or registered with the CA BBS as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist and accruing hours towards licensure)
Fluent in Spanish and English; excellent verbal communication skills in both languages.
Demonstrated work experience with underserved populations, and demonstrated work experience in individual, family and group therapy
Skill at assessing psychological needs of low-income population, and in developing treatment and case management plans.
Working knowledge of California abuse reporting laws
Ability to work with multi-disciplinary teams and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of community mental health and social services
Knowledge of early childhood development and substance use disorders.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet client needs, and ability to travel for home-based appointments and/or between sites as needed.
