VMware is looking for a talented and passionate Industry Solutions Marketing Manager that will drive global vertical-specific initiatives. This position requires a business acumen to drive the direction, planning and execution of strategic program deliverables.
oOwns and drives development of strategic global industry programs and thought leadership initiatives to meet the goals of the business
oDevelop messaging and content including presentations, web, brochures and solution briefs
oDevelop and execute content marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement and adoption to reach various IT audience(s)
oPartner with field marketing to gather program requirements, and effectively execute global programs with regions
oAlign and work effectively across cross functional teams such as sales leaders, business units, field marketing and sales
Skills & Requirements
o6/7 years of experience delivering highly successful go-to-market and awareness strategies and execution of strategic global marketing programs for software technology company
oExperience leading and managing global cross-organizational initiatives
oExperience handling stakeholders with diverse needs and perspectives
oExperience positioning technical solutions to business buyers
oExperience developing and executing content marketing strategy plan while articulating key value propositions
oExcellent oral and written communication skills; public speaking experience is a plus
Ability to operate in both a strategic and detailed manner, while accommodating for global and regional level concerns
oIndustry experience in financial services, retail and/or healthcare is ideal.
oBA or BS in Marketing or related field; MBA preferred
