This role requires strong Industry domain expertise in the Oil & Gas Industry based on experience in Business roles at a company in the M&R industry.
Leveraging deep industry and technical expertise, the Industry teams will enable our sales teams and partners deliver relevant, high-quality solutions and services to empower our commercial and public sector customers to lead the digital transformation across industries.
The goal of the Industry Solution Manager (ISM) is to drive customer Digital Transformation based on deep understanding of their industry, its drivers and the critical solutions. The role of ISM is designed to be on point for developing the go to market industry solution ecosystem that allows us to sell the solutions at scale throughout the Manufacturing & Resources industry based on the industry solution map.
The ISM needs to have established industry experience, expertise and credentials with customer business line needs and deep target industry solution technical expertise in order to be able to develop and support these solutions.
This role is responsible for expressing Microsoft's deep understanding of customer issues, context, challenges and strategic direction, as well as a deep understanding of the industry partner ecosystem relevant to the specific industry solutions and the local M&R markets.
The ISM works to build partner scale and enhance client awareness of Microsoft as a solution provider beyond traditional client-side IT Decision Makers, and reposition market perception of Microsoft as a trusted partner for industry solutions.
The ISM closely aligns with the industry PODs and other industry sellers (ATU, ISE, SMC) in the local market to activate, drive and win these industry solutions
Strong Industry domain expertise (Oil & Gas Industry) based on experience in Business roles at a company in the M&R industry.
Demonstrate strong Strategic Solutions Sales skills acquired within a significant (10+ years) Industry solution selling experience. Industry specialized sales or consulting position within an IT Consulting or Services company a plus
Great knowledge of and connection to, the Regional market (US) and partner ecosystem.
Drive Business Performance through Influencing for Impact and a strong cross-group and cross-country collaboration.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical work experience.
10+ years of management consulting experience (preferably from a Top Tier consulting company) and/or complex solutions-led enterprise sales.
Strong technology understanding of the Azure platform and experience working with senior engineering leaders and architects.
Strong experience designing and executing worldwide programs.
Strategic thinking: Ability to analyze complex industries, technology platforms and interdependencies and execute landing plans with a collaborative, growth mindset
Cross-boundary collaboration: Drive impact and influence executives across engineering, sales, marketing and services organizations.

Drive revenue growth pipeline and wallet share increase in the region in partnership with the RBL M&R Americas as well as the entire Americas Enterprise seller community
Work closely with M&R solutions team, OCP, Marketing, Services and selected partners to develop the industry solutions in such a away that it scales through the industry (or vertical) based on the industry solution map
Work closely with field PODs and other industry sellers to land industry solution "light house" deals and provide feedback to Corp on BOM, services and partner engagement model

Drive community leadership with all the ATU and Industry roles as well as other relevant roles in the region (STU, CSU, OCP and Services). Provide Industry, account and deals coaching and guidance
