Responsibilities

Leads go-to-market strategy and planning for the consumer technology industry in support of revenue and growth objectives, and drives client growth for UL's services and solutions. Versed in industry issues, vernacular, regulations and unique buying behavior to provide insights and intelligence as input to service innovation and go-to-market strategies. Responsible for developing the industry marketing plan, soliciting key contributions from and effectively interlocking with other functions of the marketing organization.

  • Cultivates consumer technology industry knowledge and manages a team who is responsible for defining UL's market opportunity.

  • Uses client and market data to define the services and solutions that should be promoted to the market, and the corresponding competitive positioning, messaging, routes to market, target buyers, buying cycle, and more.

  • Monitors industry trends (regulations, macroeconomic conditions, trends, business challenges) and acts as a subject matter expert. Manages UL's efforts to complete competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and impending risks.

  • Interlocks with strategic communications, marketing operations, and regional marketing to manage the team responsible for the development of buyer-centric campaigns/programs that build awareness and demand for UL's solutions for the consumer technology industry.

  • Helps write and curate content in industry vernacular (playbooks, case studies, blog posts, sales training materials) for inbound and outbound marketing activities.

  • Manages efforts to monitor and report on industry marketing successes and ROI against defined goals/metrics.

  • Understands the demand type and primary influencer audiences, and maps out the customer buying process; isolates nuances and patterns.

  • Contributes to, or helps manage the creation and ongoing maintenance of consumer technology-specific buyer personas and identifies target accounts within the industry.

  • Manages strong team collaboration with sales and service owners to develop a well-defined sales enablement plan.

  • Contributes to business success by performing other tasks as required.

Qualifications

  • BS/BA degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field, plus generally 8+ years of experience including 3 years or more of relevant management/leadership experience.

This position is a part of our MAC team. Here you are responsible for all aspects of MAC list maintenance. This includes creating new MAC lists and managing existing MAC lists, uploading MAC prices to the adjudication platform and all MAC related QC processes. The MAC team works closely with the Finance Guarantee team to help ensure client commitments are met by making MAC adjustments as appropriate. The MAC team is also responsible for reviewing and responding to all pharmacy MAC appeals and working with the Legal team to respond to any MAC related complaints from state agencies. In addition, the MAC team monitors pharmacy GER guarantees and making MAC adjustments as needed. The MAC team is also responsible for all MAC related reporting, including client and pharmacy reports. Additional responsibilities include: * Reviewing and resolving MAC pricing inquiries from pharmacies (both MAC law states and non MAC law states) and comply with MAC law requirements. * Validating information from various sources such as Medispan, manufacturers and wholesalers. * Accurately update Pharmacy Inquiry Database with appropriate information and respond to pharmacies within required TAT. * Identify marketplace condition changes and quickly forward potential issues to pharmacists for review in order to minimize impact to pharmacies and plan members. * Maintain MACPRICE email box and respond to pharmacy phone calls as required by state laws.
