Responsible for managing a geographic, industry or product line sales practice across a large territory and is accountable for the sales goals for industry/product line.
May be responsible for a personal sales target and the identification, maintenance or expansion of a book if business of high-yield, high-risk, large accounts.
Develops an expansion strategy or an area of specialization and identifies sales priorities by gaining insight on major or nuanced market developments, new or improved internal offerings, specific account developments and an expansive professional networks.
Coordinates responses to request for proposals, develops and effectively conducts sales presentations for high priority, nuanced and high-risk accounts within the industry/product line to accurately and impact fully convey the business value of the service and/or product offerings.
Completes the sales process from prospect identification to account closing, leveraging knowledge on historical best-practices and an advanced product and market awareness to negotiate a deal which significantly benefits the both the Business and the account.
Proactively evaluates the existing sales portfolio to identify areas for growth and expansion so as to facilitate adaptation to the external business environment and optimize value from new or different product offerings.
Assumes ownership of the relationship with large, high-yield accounts and as the business representative ensures mutual relationship satisfaction and that the business is delivering at or above expectations to appropriately and proactively addresses the account needs.
Is a visible leader and invaluable resource within an industry/product line with distinguished credibility and an expansive professional history and network and acts as the primary point of contact for high-level account stakeholders and internal senior colleagues for present or past accounts.
Delegates, attends, speaks and presents at relevant industry conferences, prepares and presents feasibility studies and publishes white papers, is a prominent, contributing member of relevant professional organizations and societies to expand and maintain a large professional network, maintain market exposure and represent the company and it's offerings.
