Support delivering world-class wastewater and water treatment projects for our power plant industrial clients and have a hand in transforming tomorrow.

As an Industrial Wastewater Treatment Technologist, you will get to work with the #1 ranked wastewater treatment engineering firm in the world and our global expert engineering staff to support varied processes for wastewater treatment with a focus on the power plant industry. Working with other members of the team, you'll assist the development team in ensuring water/wastewater process design perspectives are considered in technology selection as well as lead water and wastewater process design teams in finalizing engineering packages; effectively work with clients to develop water / wastewater characterization and basis of design, alternative evaluation, treatability testing, process definition, conceptual design through to construction and operation for raw water treatment; provide high quality technical expertise in water / wastewater management and biological treatment; as well as help develop and ensure the ongoing success of a high-performance team through mentorship and development. The minimum qualifications for this position are:

  • At least 10 years of experience (including being the subject matter expert) for applicable industrial water management and wastewater treatment in the power industry.

  • Proven experience working with project managers to deliver successful projects to industrial wastewater treatment clients.

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil Engineering or related engineering and science discipline.

  • Licensed Professional Engineer

  • Ability to travel occasionally across North America.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:

  • Advanced degree in Chemical, Environmental, Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline

  • Well-published and is a recognized subject matter expert in power plant water systems, boiler feedwater preparation, cooling tower water chemistry, and flue gas desulfurization and wastewater treatment. Expertise in biotreatment for selenium is a plus
