Summary

About the Position: Defense Contract Management Agency uses the Expedited Hiring Authority to recruit and appoint qualified individuals directly into shortage category or critical need acquisition positions.
Responsibilities

Performs contract review to identify contractual technical requirements and develop required tasks for the execution of the surveillance plans.
Identifies frequency and intensity of production surveillance required to perform on assigned contracts.
Records the level of surveillance in applicable DCMA databases, spreadsheets and documentation.
Promptly notifies buying activities of potential or actual schedule delays and their causes, providing concise and definitive recommendations.
Provides timely and responsive replies to customer support requests.
Performs analysis and reports information associated with work stoppages.
Reviews contractor cost proposals for sustainment or production items.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Occasional travel - Business Travel is required 15% of the time.

(GS-11) To qualify, applicants must possess one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade/level (GS-09). Specialized experience is defined as: Experience reviewing and analyzing contractor performance, plans, schedules, controls and industrial processes as they relate to delivery schedules, supply chain management and the manufacturing flow process; experience compiling data related to the Manufacturing Plan and determining cost and schedule objectives.
