Cleanwater1, Inc. ("CW1" or the "Company")), through its operating subsidiaries, is an industry leader in water related technologies and infrastructure, with a particular emphasis in the chemical feed and disinfection areas of water and wastewater treatment.

CW1 is looking for an Industrial Sales Manager with expertise in chemical feed and disinfection control solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial sales, particularly within the chemical equipment industry, and a proven track record of driving sales through both direct and indirect channels. The role requires a deep understanding of chemical feed systems, water treatment processes, and disinfection control technologies. This is a full-time position and can be remotely held with preference given to candidates near CW1's office locations in Milpitas, California; Vineland, New Jersey; Louisville, Colorado and Grain Valley, Missouri. This position reports to the Vice President of Sales.

Essential Job Functions

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and tactics to achieve Company goals.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking out new business opportunities.

  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.

  • Work closely with sales teams to ensure execution of sales strategies.

  • Provide technical expertise and support to clients throughout the sales process.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.

  • Conduct regular market analysis to identify potential opportunities for growth.

  • Manage both direct and indirect sales channels effectively.

  • Collaborate with distributors, partners, and OEMs to expand market reach and maximize sales potential.

  • Develop accurate sales forecasts and reports to track progress against targets.

  • Analyze sales data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.

  • Develop and maintain key relationships with principals of the most important Representative Firms.

  • Provide training and support to sales team members, distributors, and partners to enhance product knowledge and sales effectiveness.

  • Perform key account planning to identify, develop, and close business opportunities in support of business plan and strategic objectives.

  • Establish and maintain an in-depth understanding of the products and services offered to, and needs of, customers of CW1.

  • Provide general planning and budgeting, including directing effort and coordination of internal and external resources.

  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent experience, Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.

  • Strong understanding of chemical feed systems, disinfection control technologies, and water treatment processes.

  • 5+ years of industrial sales experience with a focus on chemical feed and disinfection control solutions.

  • Proven success in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in the industrial sector.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Able to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software.

  • Experience in managing both direct and indirect sales channels, including distributors, partners, and OEMs.

  • Have and maintain a valid driver's license with a clean driving record (MVR will be run).

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Valid U.S. passport.

  • Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally approximately 60-70% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in business administration or in Engineering or Chemistry.

  • Experience in the following sectors is preferable: Food and Beverage, Chemical Processing, Mining, Power Generation, Oil & Gas and Pulp & paper.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to sit for long periods of time, including at a desk, on an airplane and while driving a vehicle;

  • Ability to look at computer screen for much of the workday.

Work Environment

  • Approximately 30% Office Environment

  • Approximately 45% Visiting Customer Sites and Rep/Distributors

  • May be exposed to a variety of weather elements as well as areas of high noise levels, hazardous propellants, chemicals and industrial facilities.
  • Approximately 25% Attending Conferences

  • Appropriate PPE and training will be provided for all conditions.
