Could you be the full-time onsite Industrial Quality Engineer in Plattsburgh, NY, US we're looking for?

Your future role

"Take on a new challenge and apply your analytical and process-oriented expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside dedicated, innovative teammates. You'll contribute to our ZERO DEFECT PROGRAM by partnering with the Process Industrial Quality Manager (PIQ) to design and deploy Quality Control Plans that support an external demerit at 0 for Alstom Customers. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain), ensure adherence to quality standards and much more."

We'll look to you for:

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met,

  • Training and guiding team members on quality control procedures,

  • Managing quality documentation and reports,

  • Ensuring compliance with national and international quality standards,

  • Develop and deploy processes, tools & quality standards with industrial teams,

  • Manage Quality activities related to digital tools: GSI, QES & AOS,

  • Support Industrial Quality Inspections as required,

  • Deliver training for Quality teams to Industrial Quality Standards,

  • Manage activity related to car history book (Traceability, configuration, …),

  • Perform Workstation audits planning, ensure follow-up & management of relevant action plans,

  • Manage when needed the metrology activity and monitor external provider of calibration,

  • Manage the quality methods team if relevant,

  • Manage APSYS improvement plan for Industrial Quality scope.

  • Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical Engineering,

  • Experience or understanding of quality control processes and methodologies in an industrial environment,

  • Effective communication skills to liaise with cross-functional teams and stakeholders,

  • 5 years of experience in Industrial environments,

  • Working experience using CATIA, desirable
