Industrial Progress Engineer
Bridgewater, Nova Scotia
Michelin North America (Canada) Inc., which employs over 3,600 people and operates three tire manufacturing facilities in Nova Scotia, is seeking an Industrial Progress Engineer to join our Bridgewater Progress Team. The successful candidate will lead and develop the continuous improvement strategy, in both efficiency and cost reduction projects, in areas that range from specific work posts to corporate systems.
Job responsibilities include:
Requirements for this position include:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, or an equivalent technical diploma;
Experience applying Lean Manufacturing tools (5S, PDCA, Bottleneck Management, Value Stream Mapping, etc), in a manufacturing environment;
exposure to digitalization (Industry 4.0) and proficiency with tools such as Office BI Apps, OsiSoft PI, Raspberry Pi, etc; and,
extensive experience with Microsoft Excel.
