What You'll Do as an Industrial Outside Sales Representative:

  • Develop assigned territory via prospecting, cold calling, qualifying leads, following up on referrals, setting up appointments and making sales presentations.

  • Provide superior customer service to address specific customer requirements, including request for proposal responses and industry-specific solutions.

  • Lead solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary team members.

  • Provide technical support activities related to Tank, Box, Filtration Pumps, Pipes and Hoses at job sites.

  • Work with Branch and Regional Management to develop annual strategic sales plan and individual quarterly revenue budget/account plans.

  • Ability to read and decipher blueprints and engineered computer-aided design (CADD) documentation.

  • Keep up to date on industry news, trends, products, services, competitors, relevant information about legacy, existing, and emerging technologies, and the latest product-line developments.

  • Maintain customer's company/contact information and document all customer visits and business opportunities in CRM.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What You'll Need to be a Successful Industrial Outside Sales Representative:

  • 4+ years' sales experience OR a Bachelor's degree AND 2+ years' sales experience

  • Experience using a CRM, preferably

  • Ability to multi-task with high degree of attention to detail and follow through

  • Ability to work in an indoor and outdoor environment which includes working underneath equipment and exposure to dust, noise, and hazardous materials

  • Proven track record of growing a territory and existing accounts through referrals

  • Communicate clearly: both verbal and written

  • Strong computer skills

  • Strong construction or mechanical aptitude preferred

  • Preferred experience in Industrial Tank Box, Filtration and either Petrochemical, Construction, Mining or Oil & Gas fluid and solid management

  • Experience with Chrome River preferred

  • Valid Driver's License

  • Up to 10% overnight travel required

The PAR 1 ensures that all data entry is accurate, including demographic and financial information for each account. The PAR 1 has numerous procedural requirements, including data elements, insurance verification, and authorization for services; collections for all patient portions; and balancing of cash at shift end. The PAR 1 communicates directly with patients and families, physicians, nurses, insurance companies, and third-party payers. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: 1 year of relevant experience (customer service, billing, registration, finance, or accounting) in a medical office or hospital setting, or insurance office. Bachelor#s Degree substitutes for 1 year of experience. Special Skills: Advanced clerical and computer skills, critical thinking skills, ability to work in high-stress situations, professional appearance and behavior, good communication skills, dependability, flexibility, teamwork. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Effectively meets customer needs, builds productive customer relationships, and takes responsibility for customer satisfaction and loyalty. Represents the Patient Access department in a professional, courteous manner at ALL times by asking patients if they may have special needs and greeting patients in a courteous and professional manner.# Supports the flexible needs of the department to accommodate patient volume in all areas of the hospital. This may require assignment to another area of the department, and shift change. Calculates and collects the estimated patient portion, based on benefits and contract reimbursement as well as prior balances. Collects co-payments, deductibles, deposits and/or amounts due on previous accounts. Collects cash, prints receipts, and balances cash drawers. Verifies insurance eligibility and obtains necessary authorizations for services rendered for both public and private insurances. Gives patient documents that he/she needs to take with him/her to other departments. Make follow up appointments if the patients request one before leaving their visit.
