Industrial Operations Engineer lll - Process Improvement Facilitator
The process improvement facilitator will focus on both supporting the field team through the facilitation of upstream process improvements. They will lead high level teams through on strategic initiatives. They will lead value stream mapping exercises aimed at aligning the multiple upstream organizations and processes. The process champion will be a key facilitator responsible for leading change at the top tiers of the construction organization
The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of facilitation and project management. This candidate will have experience leading strategic initiatives and interfacing with executive leadership. The selected individual must possess strong cross functional experiences within supply chain and operations.
Candidate must have a strong work ethic, the ability to see a business need and champion projects with minimal supervision. The candidate must be detail oriented, organized, and thrive in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Facilitate teams on strategic planning and end to end organization flow
Lead Lean Six Sigma initiatives across the construction central operations organization, including hosting kaizens and value stream mapping projects
Coach construction central ops team members & managers to drive process improvement initiatives in their respective areas
Leads very highly complex and large impact projects
Drive continuous improvement throughout the organization; apply expert subject matter knowledge to manage staff activities in solving complex business/technical issues within construction operations
Interface with other business units to improve collaboration and communication
Monitor and improve the safety, output and efficiency of construction processes through the measurement of key process indicators (KPIs) in support of the overall organization
Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree or higher at an accredited university with 5+ years' experience in Process Transformation, Process Automation, Operational Excellence or the equivalent
Six Sigma Master Black Belt/Black Belt with Quality improvement, Change Management and Lean Deployment background
Proven experience delivering large scale end-end Process Transformation projects
Experience as a project manager; ability to drive change in a complex organization
Ability to work on cross functional teams in a fast-paced startup environment
