Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor

JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Work with plant leadership team to manage workload to include, preventative maintenance, routine repairs, troubleshoot and repair equipment failures, & daily schedules to increase overall efficiency

• Develop and optimize PLC process

• Coach and develop skills of direct and indirect reports.

• Participate in the identification, recruitment, training, appraisal, and professional development of maintenance resources

• Assist with operations support, create and implement maintenance procedures that work with production planning

• Diagnosis and repair AC/DC motors, drivers, and other systems throughout plant

• Replace any defective parts for control systems

• Work with teams to lead equipment  and electrical installations and electrical then test to ensure the proper functioning

• Initiate and facilitate improvement projects processes to ensure a system is operating to its full potential

• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in manufacturing facility, a minimum of 5 years experience in maintenance

• Competent with control systems, Controls Logic, and other programs that are specific to the work environment

• Strong aptitude for automation, automation controls, and controls logic, 3-5 years of experience in a PLC environment

• Read blueprints and other technical documentation

• Must be able to demonstrate lock-out/tag-out and confined area procedures, and help manage safety within team

• Committed to working safely and following/enforcing all policies and procedures

• Able to work within project timelines and budgets

• Understanding of plant housekeeping fundamentals is essential

• Experience with RS Logix, Case Erectors, Bag Inserters, and Fanuc robots preferred.

• Able to troubleshoot, excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Strong communication skills to effectively communicate with team members.

• Must be available for Saturday work as needed

• State issued valid Driver's License; commercial driver's license is a plus

• Able to lift 75 pounds and climb ladders

• Unrestricted Valid Drivers License

• Willing to travel, up to 25%
