Kelly Engineering is looking for a Industrial Maintenance Technician for a position in SC. This is a direct hire and immediate need for a 2nd shift Technician.
The Maintenance Technician performs maintenance related tasks as required to ensure the safe and reliable operation of electrical and mechanical equipment. The position is a craftsman level job working on second shift. Normal work hours are Monday-Friday 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm and will involve occasional overtime, back shift, weekend and holiday coverage as necessary.
Perform repair of mechanical equipment.
Use technical manuals, blue prints, and engineering sketches as required.
Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment.
Responsible for performing and documenting preventive maintenance on production machinery.
Responsible for keeping equipment in top condition for safe and efficient production results.
Will need to operate machines from time to time for both troubleshooting and to supplement production requirements during busy periods.
5+ to 7 years of experience in industrial maintenance or combination of related technical education and work experience.
High school diploma or GED required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively interact with all levels of the organization.
Fundamental mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting ability related to typical bulk material handling equipment, and fluid flow systems.
Fundamental electrical knowledge and troubleshooting ability 480 volt and lower.
Understanding of electric motors and motor systems.
