We are working with an EPC Construction Contractor who is hiring an onsite Construction Manager who has expeirnece with Equipment installation and construction large manufacturing construction projects. This position will be brought on to assist in overseeing the construction and installation onsite this $700M industrial manufacturing facility. This is an onsite position in Ravenswood, WV, initially. They have multiple projects afrter this. Long term opportunity

You will be part of a team who studies drawings and specifications to plan and sequence procurement and construction activities, plan proper construction means and methods, staff projects based on the construction plan, based on knowledge of available tools, equipment, and various construction methods

Project Details

• Salary + overtime paid

• Per Diem, Lodging and Company Vehicle Offered

• Expected to work 50 hour work weeks (could fluctuate based on needs per week)

• This is a traveling role and will require 80%-100% travel

• Project Site is located in Ravenswood, WV

• $700 million project budget with a 2+ year schedule for completion

Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in construction management

• Previous experience in industrial manufacturing construction

• Electrical or Mechanical l focused construction discipline required

• Must be willing totravel

Description:

We are looking for a mid-level Construction Manager to join our EPC Management team and support construction of industrial manufacturing facilities. You will be part of a team who studies drawings and specifications to plan and sequence procurement and construction activities, plan proper construction means and methods, staff projects based on the construction plan, based on knowledge of available tools, equipment, and various construction methods.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Plans, schedules, and oversees other superintendents, supervisors, administrators on project related activities.

• Assembles members of organization (supervisory, clerical, engineering, and other workers) at start of project to review job specific issues (schedules, health & safety issues, subcontractor coordination, etc.). Assign roles and responsibilities for field activities in accordance with the PEP.

• Leads team with the change orders process including proper notification, supporting data gathering/organization development for Project Manager review and processing.

• Participates actively in creating a safety culture in the office and at the jobsite.

• Serve as Project Site Safety Leader (in absence of full time EHS Supervisor).

• Collaborates with Project Manager in the development and modification to the Project Execution Plan (PEP). Provide updates to the Project Manager in accordance with the PEP as it relates to cost, schedule, and client management.

• Estimates cost of materials, labor and use of equipment required to successfully manage change during a project.

• As the primary interface with clients during a project, obtains client feedback and maintains client relationships.

• Manages the execution of the commissioning and closeout processes.

• Adheres to the policies and standards set forth in the Firm's Quality Management System.
