As a Maintenance Techician, qualitfications in the following groupings; Industrial electrical such as 3-Phase or 480, building wiring and hoists systems, pneumatic & hydraulic systems, Fabrication, Plumbing, Air Compression and Dust Collection systems. You will have knowledge of all power tools (air and electrical hand tools). Must be mechanically inclined.

Read and understand electrical and mechanical prints and instructions. Must be capable of working off ladders, cat walks, and scaffolds, not be afraid of heights. Good hand/eye coordination is important along with having a good organization ability.

Knowledge of welders, compressors, fork lift trucks, tractors, pickup trucks, and capable of repairing same. Perform normal plant general maintenance. Capable or working with little or no supervision.

We work Monday through Friday first shift only. Overtime is available and may be required during our highest production times.

Job Description: * Participates actively in safety and skills training in pursuit of personal improvement * Maintains a thorough knowledge of production processes, equipment and operations in the interest of diagnosing and repairing equipment malfunctions * Performs preventive maintenance duties on equipment as required and maintains an competent knowledge of equipment, operations and processes throughout the plant * Disassembles and diagnoses mechanical failures and performs repairs on production and facilities equipment as required * Installs new equipment as required, aligns, rebuilds and performs preventative maintenance duties as necessary * Maintains manuals of replacement parts, specifications, blueprints of equipment and maintenance requirements to facilitate repairs also maintains such files and records in an orderly manner for future reference * Performs welding or general maintenance duties as required in repairing production equipment and fabrication of parts * Documents time spent, work performed and parts used on projects by completing time records * Conducts regular inspections of tools, safety and production equipment * Develops and maintains knowledge of hand and power tools used in the repair and maintenance of plant equipment * Use of equipment such as forklifts and boom/scissor lifts. Job Requirements: * Electrical controls and troubleshooting * Understanding and knowledge of Boiler/Steam, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment * Computer hardware and software skills * Able to meet the physical requirements of the position including but not limited to: able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/sit/walk for extended periods of time, squat/kneel, climb stairs/ladders, operate vibrating equipment/power tools/assistive transfer devices, able to grip/grasp/pinch and reach overhead, work in a variety of environmental conditions (indoor, outdoor, hot, cold, dust, etc) * Ability to work any shift, weekends, and holidays to support 24/7 operations. * Maintain a good, regular and prompt attendance record * The position may also require exposure to and the safe use of chemicals, solvents, and cleaners common to mechanical work that may be hazardous and/or cause injury if specific instructions regarding their mixture, use, and disposal/storage are not properly followed. * Performs other duties as assigned.
