Intelligrated, now part of Honeywell is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician for our growing team!

  • MUST HAVE AN LME LICENSE*

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will operate within our

customer's facilities performing the maintenance function per the Intelligrated

contract. The Industrial Maintenance Technician

is critical to the smooth operation of our customer's distribution centers and

will be required to perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance

of our customer's various material handling systems. The Customer Service

Technician will take the initiative to coordinate with other departments the

activities required for the safe and satisfactory completion of any job tasks.

The Customer Service Technician will represent Intelligrated on site and will

also need to follow our customer's guidelines for general work practices

outlined on site.

Assists other Customer Service

Technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment

Completes work orders, records,

logs and other written or computer-based documents according to established

procedures

Diagnoses mechanical and electrical

problems using technical drawings (e.g., blueprints, electronic/mechanical

schematics) and diagnostic tools (e.g. multi-meter, laptop)

Operates material handling

equipment, battery equipment, moving machinery, and other powered equipment; utilizes

TCPiP as a troubleshooting/setup tool

Performs preventive maintenance and

repairs on equipment (e.g., pneumatic systems, material handling equipment,

hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, electronic and electrical equipment, etc.)

according to safety and quality procedures

Troubleshoots and repairs complex

electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, PC logic controls,

Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and external Input/Output (I/O) devices

where the repair is not immediately visible or obvious

Assists in the development of

specific technical and training documentation; assists in the development of a

Technical Support Help Desk/Troubleshooting Guide

Provides resolutions to mechanical,

technical/controls issues; documents all information relating to customer

support issues in CMMS and Dashboard database; utilizes resources in other

departments (when necessary) to expedite the resolution of conveyor related

issues

Provides information to the

Customer Service Department and other members of management to enhance Customer

Service success

Follows up with customers and other

departments to ensure issues have been resolved

Participates in cleaning the

conveyor systems and part cage as appropriate

Maintains inventory of company

supplied tools

Completes appropriate paperwork in

a timely manner

Adheres to all department and

company standards, operating procedures and safety requirements while

contributing to improvement

May be required to

perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

You Must Have:

High School diploma or GED is required
2-4 Mechanical troubleshooting and repair experience

required, (Sr level 5+ yrs.)

experience required, (Sr. level 5+ yrs.)

MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and

Outlook)

Shift work may be required.

We Prefer:

Material handling

experience in Conveyor, sortation, palletizers, and robotics is a plus.

VIEW JOBS 11/16/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-14T00:00 Description Perform a preventative maintenance inspections, repairs, troubleshooting, and overhaul/rebuild on light rail vehicles (LRVs), including LRV subsystems and components, for LRV types, including timed contractor DC propulsion technology and state of the art AC propulsion microprocessor driven technology. Essential Functions 1. Inspect, troubleshoot , adjust, repair and overhaul/rebuild LRV subsystems, such as propulsion, dynamic brake, friction brake, air conditioning, annunciation circuits, couplers, door systems and public address/readerboards. Locate and diagnose trouble in electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems using standard test equipment and laptop computers. 2. Follow written standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintenance instructions, blueprints, schematics, drawings, and written specifications. 3. Practice effective work techniques in troubleshooting, job lay-out, productivity and quality of work performed. 4. Instruct other employees and LRV apprentices in repair procedures, troubleshooting, safety precautions and preventative maintenance inspection techniques, as required. 5. Use the following test equipment: laptop computers (Windows and non-Windows applications, LRV systems diagnostic software, fault log data analytic software), diagnostic test equipment, data acquisition test equipment, oscilloscopes, simulator, megger, hi-pot tester, under floor wheel lathe, HVAC testing equipment, in-floor hydraulic jacks, and hydraulic press for wheel-axle and tire assembly and disassembly. 6. Operate hi-rail vehicles, forklift, overhead cranes, and perform tasks involved in re-rail procedures for LRVs. 7. Maintain maintenance logs and records as required by TriMet rules and procedures. 8. Perform related duties as required. Position Requirements High school diploma or equivalent. Three years experience in electrified rail transit vehicle maintenance or manufacturing, or completion of TriMet Light Rail Vehicle apprentice program. Or any equivalent combination of experience and training. Possession of or the ability to obtain, a valid Oregon Class "A" Commercial Driver License (CDL) with an air brake endorsement or the State of Washington equivalent. Must pass required physical examination with drug screen, and meet the physical activity requirements of the job. Upon verification of a prior experience, applicant must pass a qualifying written examination related to the Selection Criteria listed below. Selection Criteria 1. Knowledge of: electrical propulsion theory, design concepts, equipment, hardware, troubleshooting and repair techniques related to electrified rail transit vehicles, including applicable electrical and materials codes and standards. 2. Knowledge of testing and instrumentation equipment involved in operation and maintenance of electrified rail transit vehicles. 3. Demonstrated knowledge of heavy vehicle shop safety procedures in an electrified environment. 4. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical plans, drawings and specifications. 5. Ability to effectively communicate and document maintenance work and instructions, maintain test records, and assist in developing operating procedures. 6. Ability to safely work with live circuits up to 1,000 V. 7. Ability to gain specific knowledge relating to TriMet light rail transit vehicles. 8. Ability to operate the District's radio and telephone communication system in accordance with established regulations and procedures. 9. Demonstrated ability to maintain a satisfactory level of dependability and reliability for technician work performance both individually and as a member of a team of technicians, and attendance. 10. Ability to understand and comply with District's safety rules, operating procedures, rules and regulations. 11. Ability to pass the District's certification program for Rail Maintenance equipment operations. 12. Ability to perform all essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodations.
