We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Client's dynamic team. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for the routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance of a variety of manufacturing equipment, including high-speed production assembly equipment, filtration membrane manufacturing, and converting equipment . This role also encompasses supporting facility maintenance and processes, ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing systems.
Key Responsibilities: Equipment Repairs: Perform both electrical and mechanical repairs on production equipment.
Maintenance Tasks: Conduct preventive and predictive maintenance on manufacturing machinery. Database Interaction:
Utilize computer-based maintenance database systems to log activities. Documentation: Assist in maintaining detailed equipment information and repair files. Team Collaboration:
Support other maintenance personnel with equipment repairs and research. Problem-Solving: Work directly with production personnel to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues.
Safety Compliance: Participate actively in plant environmental, health, and safety programs. Qualifications: Experience: 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing equipment repair.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving abilities.
Technical Literacy: Ability to read and understand equipment schematics and service manuals. Additional Skills:
Familiarity with ultrasonic welding is a plus. Computer Proficiency: Competent in using email, maintenance databases, and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.). Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to write clear and detailed repair reports. Teamwork: Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Additional Requirements:
Overtime:
Flexibility to work overtime, including weekends. Physical Requirements: Lifting: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Mobility: Ability to work at heights and climb ladders.
