Position Summary

$32.50hr

12hr shifts

  • Nights 6pm

  • 6:10am

2-2-3 schedule

The duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide preventative and corrective maintenance support by troubleshooting and repair of sanitary equipment, product sterilizing equipment, packaging equipment, utility equipment, process equipment, spray dryer, controls, instrumentation and applied working knowledge of PLC's

  • Apply working knowledge of product sterilizing equipment, high speed packaging equipment, heating, ventilating, air conditioning, high pressure boilers and process chillers.

  • Apply working knowledge of three phase electrical power and industrial controls.

  • Accurately use SAP (Enterprise Resource Planning software) and AMM (work order system)

  • Demonstrate ability to organize and lead project tasks assigned by your Supervisor.

What is expected:

  • Follow the plant safety rules; report incidents & unsafe conditions immediately.

  • Follow factory safety & environmental objectives & targets.

  • Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to the Safety & Environmental Management System(s) on all related procedures and programs. Understand the environmental aspects of the position and take action to reduce these environmental impacts by conserving paper, electricity, water, etc. Recycle all appropriate materials (paper, plastic, food, etc.).

  • Maintain compliance with regulations and refer to Nestle Quality Management System on all related procedures and programs.

  • Understand the food safety and quality aspects of the position as indicated on QMS, OJT's and SOP's that apply.

  • Understand and apply the principles of NCE (Nestle Continuous Excellence) and TPM (i.e.: NCE, SHO (Shift Hand Off) Board, TPM Meetings, GSTD (Go See Think Do), DMAIC (Define Measure Analyse Improve Control)).

  • Maintain a clean and 5S compliant work area.

  • Maintain a positive attitude (i.e.: demonstrate engagement and pro-active behavior) and follow the values set forth in the Gateway Compass.

Requirements

Associate Degree in Electromechanical Maintenance, Industrial Maintenance or related technical field OR 3+ years related work experience in lieu of a degree.

Now is the time to define your future, and ours too.</p><p>Position Summary</p><p>Full Rate is $27/hr 12 hour shifts 6pm - 6:10am; Working a 2, 2, 3 Schedule</p><p>At Nestlé basic duties and responsibilities for a production operator can include operating various pieces of production equipment; monitoring production processes and line operations; preparing and maintaining batch records and charts; sanitizing and cleaning equipment; performing inspections on products and preventative maintenance activities on equipment; operating material control equipment (e.g., palletizer, forklift and automated guided vehicles (AGV's)); loading and unloading materials; weighing up and staging ingredients for processing; and using a computer system (SAP) to track production-related information.
