The successful Industrial Engineering - Operations Analyst plays a crucial role in creating, refining, and optimizing digital tools and performance metrics for co-packaging and distribution centers. They are also tasked with advancing performance levels through activities such as process mapping, reporting, and in-depth analysis. This is a combined position requiring Industrial Engineering knowledge along with quantitative skills. We are pleased to offer this dynamic position that enables you to collaborate with a wide variety of contract packaging internal team and customer teams. Candidate must have hands-on approach to resolve sophisticated issues, flexible, and able to adapt to changes in a multifaceted environment.
Responsibilities.
Retrieving, cleaning, and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling them into impactful formats including charts, graphs, intuitive data reading, and problem solving to support department performance goals.
Utilizes quantitative skills to create and analyze reports to support business execution.
Supports the business through ad-hoc queries and maintains reports from a variety of sources as specific to department or organizational needs.
Generate regular reports and dashboards to provide insights into performance against KPIs.
Identifies process improvement opportunities through strategic thinking, critical thinking, and analysis.
Develop and deliver shopfloor digital whiteboards and assist in developing visual Factory as required for the operations.
Work with site operations team to modify, optimize and develop facility layouts.
Present recommendations to senior management.
Performs database connections between different interfaces to great consolidated summary dashboards through data analysis/cost/benefit analysis/process mapping or problem analysis while executing day to day processes related to area of responsibility.
Assist in capacity planning and resource allocation based on forecasted demand.
Develops & maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and cost models.
Assisting with finding tools to capture data.
Develop internal and customer presentations.
Requirements
Bachelor's or master's degree in industrial engineering, supply chain management/Logistics or equivalent degree
Build Visio flows and writes processes/project documentation.
Proficiency in Visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau
Experience in crafting and managing sophisticated models using SQL and advanced Microsoft Excel
Hands on experience in data management and data quality control with experience pulling and analyzing large sets of data.
Knowledge of Lean and Kaizen tools
Knowledge of AutoCAD for Basic Layout designing
Excellent written/verbal communication skills
Ability to thrive in a rapidly changing and multifaceted business environment
Pay Range $70k-95k (based on experience)
