What does an Industrial Engineering Co-op do at Rinnai?
Executing Production Engineering projects for Rinnai America Manufacturing under the guidance of Production Engineers. Learning real world IE knowledge and skills.
Schedule: Monday-Friday
Time: 7:00am-4:00pm
Must be able to work onsite in Griffin, GA. This position is not eligible for Housing/Residential support.

What you will do:
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Industrial Engineering Co-Op will provide engineering support for the Corporate Production Engineering team.
They will interact with the manufacturing plants to drive change as a part of the Production Engineering team.
Perform time study observations to establish and/or validate production standards.
Capital project requests, justifications & capital expenditure reporting.
Maintain accurate and current training documentation (Work Instructions, Standard Work, Engineering Technical Standards)
All other tasks as directed.
REQUIREMENTS:
KNOWLEDGE
Current student in an ABET accredited program pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent.
Junior or above in good standing with the program.
Prior Experience: None Required
SKILLS
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate to a wide variety of individuals and groups.
Strong data analysis and logical reasoning skills
ABILITIES
Available to work a 40-hour work week.
Available to work in a consecutive 6-month minimum co-op assignment.
Must have reliable transportation to and from work.
Physical Requirements:
Physical Activities
Occasionally ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and the like, moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces, remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods, moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another, adjusting or moving objects up to 40 pounds in all directions, and operating machinery and/or power tools. Constantly assessing the accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of the work assigned and communicating with others to exchange information.
Physical Demands
Occasionally sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing, light work that includes moving objects up to 20 pounds, and medium work that includes moving objects up to 50 pounds.
Environmental Conditions
Occasionally outdoor elements such as precipitation, hazardous conditions, and wind and noisy environments
