Work with clients and conduct research on the supply chain and logistic to plan and establish optimal workflow by improving the way of product are received, orders are tracked, picked, and prepared for shipping.
o Research on the background and business type of the client what kind of business they are involved and help them to choose the appropriate industrial platform to apply.
o Research on the currant supply chain and logistic of the company and the future blue print and object in each phase.
o Collect the physical information of the warehouse. The layout, total area, work zone, work bench, racks, levels, labor force, work schedule, equipment and facilities.
o Give suggestions to the client which kind of process they can use for improving the inbound work flows, real-time slotting, inventory flow works, order fulfillment, packing and shipping.
o Create the work flow net using flow chart, found out the relation and perform order between each work, and help client to determine the critical path of the work flow.
o Translate the workflow into data transaction into database. And according to the flows make discussion with software developers dealing with how to realize the data changes between different tables.
Implement specific Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Quality Control (QC) Objectives and Lean Six Sigma Concept into the Warehouse Management Software (WMS).
o Research on the SOP of the warehouse and divide the inbound and outbound process into specific process Ex. receiving, putaway and order picking, packing and shipping. Etc.
o Apply the SOP concept into each operation process, identify the key step and provide software support to realize it. For
o Example, there are several receiving methods such as ASN receiving, PO receiving, Blind receiving and the option of developing customized receiving method all base on the analysis of the SOP requirement.
o Help client to created check points, develop software to collect the data at each point, set up control values and control limits and create quality control dashboard to monitor and supervise the operation process in real time.
o Perform research on continuous improvement/lean concept by using DMAIC method in the aspects of effective slotting, travel time, pick-path, cluster and batch picking to improve the performance and reduce costs.
o Help client to establish key performance indicator (KPI) and develop tools for measuring labor force performance.
Collect and analyze the real-time productivity data by using statistic and data-miming methods and represent by dashboards and analysis reports to the supervisor to make better decisions.
o Conduct Time Study Analysis, disaggregate the work process into small tasks and use the real time data to establish the work completion time standard and through the comparison between different workers to find the critical step to improve the whole process efficiency significantly.
o Conduct Inventory Control Analysis, Design SQL query in the Oracle Database to collect and sorting the data based on time period of replenishment, quantity ship out and use linear program to determine the optimum inventory to keep in the warehouse that can utilize the best of warehouse space.
o Collect the data of activity frequency on each product then calculate the ABC code that to be assigned to the product to have a dynamic slot sequence. So, the product has a highest sequence will be slot to the most reachable location, that will significantly improve the efficiency of picking process.
o Research on the optimization of the picking path by using data mining method-Clustering to find out the best cluster to batch the orders.
o Research on algorithm of machine learning and decision-making method and work with programmer to apply into the system to let the system self to determine the priority of the orders, allocation, shipping decision, Etc.
o Analyze the work load and workers efficiency, establish key performance indicator (KPI) and develop tools for measuring labor force performance and create optimum work schedule and arrangement.
Design testing plan, perform system testing and collect data to evaluate the systems reliability, availability and serviceability.
o Design the testing plan to meet the detail requirement and identify test conditions to make the least testing to cover the largest possibilities by using test design techniques decision table.
o Collect and analyze testing data to determine the failure rate, system reliability and give evaluation and suggestion to improve the stability of system and the service experience of the user.
Collaborate with the internal and external resource to build the project and disaggregate it into detailed tasks that reflect the requirements of client and make sure each task assigned to team member.
o Set up the preliminary frame of the project by different phases: the process flew design, integration, inbound development, outbound development, end to end testing, customer user acceptation, customer Go-Live. Etc.
o Utilize project management software teamwork to design and draft the Gantt Chart and create task, task list and milestone under each project.
o Collaborate with client and third-party integration team to build the connection and interface between our SaaS platform with the clients ERP System.
o Work with development team to create and realize new programs or functionalities by setting up goals, criterion and deadlines to perform the process control
Prioritize professional service projects by value-add, ROI potential, and impact on technical resources.
o Apply SOPs to the work products to maintenance the standard version of specifications, usermanuals, training documents, whatfix, etc.
o Perform training to clients in all aspect of the software application, set-up, maintenance program, menu options and the implementation to the Fullscreen and handhold computer, printer, barcode scanner, etc.
o Provide support and monitor the whole project lifecycle from software kick-off to Go-Live of each project by using tickets system to collect the issues, feedbacks and then evaluate the results, generate summary reports and create lessons learned.
Bachelor Degree is required in Industrial Engineering or Industrial Systems Engineering
