Job Description Job Description Industrial Engineer TSS is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join our team in Round Rock, TX. As an Industrial Engineer at TSS, your primary responsibility will be to analyze our company's manufacturing processes to identify areas that require improvement.

You will be responsible for implementing solutions to improve overall performance, including optimizing processes to increase efficiency while reducing costs. To be considered for this role, you should have an in-depth understanding of industrial engineering principles and practices. You will be expected to use your expertise to evaluate the manufacturing processes and identify potential areas for improvement in production, quality control, and supply chain.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that all improvements are implemented effectively. The ideal candidate will be adept at maintaining detailed records of findings, recommendations, and implementation results. Responsibilities Conducting time and motion studies to analyze existing manufacturing processes and identify areas for improvement.

Developing and implementing methods to increase efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource utilization. Designing and implementing production layouts, workflows, and workstations to improve productivity and safety. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and management, to identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Utilizing data analysis tools and techniques to analyze production data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions. Developing and maintaining standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions to ensure consistency and quality in manufacturing processes. Providing training and support to production staff to ensure the successful implementation of process improvements.

Conducting risk assessments and implementing measures to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives and Lean Manufacturing projects to drive operational excellence. Recommending and implementing new technologies, equipment, and automation solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.

Determining effective ways to create a product or service to increase productivity, maximize profits, and manage human capital. Studies product requirements and designs manufacturing and information systems to meet requirements. Coordinates and implements quality control objectives, activities, or procedures to resolve production problems, maximize product reliability, and minimize costs.

Estimates production costs, cost-saving methods, and the effects of product design changes on expenditures for management review, action, and control. Knowledge of controls for MES and shop floor control systems. Skills Manufacturing, process flow and production knowledge Data analytics and critical thinking Effective oral and written communication Technical problem-solving Relationship building Adaptability Results-oriented Quality management Safety awareness and compliance Team building Organizational skills Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or related field.

Master's degree is a plus. 10 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing environment. Strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles, techniques, and methodologies. Proficiency in process optimization, workflow analysis, and Lean Manufacturing concepts.

Experience with time and motion studies, value stream mapping, and other process improvement tools. Proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Proficiency in CAD software and simulation tools is preferred. Certification in Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing is preferred.
