PALFINGER OKC is searching for an Industrial Engineer to join the team. PALFINGER OKC is located at 341 NW 122nd Street, Oklahoma City, OK, 73114. This position reports to the Regional Manufacturing & Industrial Engineering Manager.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Coordinate the various aspects of the industrial engineering - including fixture design, project planning, and process development.

• Provide guidance and engineering support to Continuous Improvement and Quality department.

• Assist in the development of processing plans, routing structures, work center structures, methods, design, materials handling, manpower requirements, time studies, and cost analysis.

• Oversee the development and maintenance of long- and short-term processing plans.

• Prepare and review project proposals, studies, and technical reports.

• Oversee the cost effective, safe, and timely completion of projects that meet or exceed expectations.

• Apply a sound basic knowledge of safety, environmental, and energy-related issues during the execution of projects.

• Represent the department within the company and represent the company to external vendors and contractors.

• Support cross plant initiatives.

• All other duties as assigned.

Education and Training:

Bachelor of Industrial, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineer required with four (4) years of experience.

Core Competencies:

• Lean Manufacturing background and knowledge of the like.

• Strong computer skills: Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point

• Strong working knowledge of ERP systems: SAP

• General CAD knowledge: Pro-E, Solidworks, AutoCAD and Creo

• Team player able to build and maintain relationships with both internal and external colleagues.

• Flexible to change and open to constructive feedback.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills

• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
