PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assure efficient manufacturing processes on new and existing products per the requirements outlined in design review meetings.
• Assure maximum profitability and quality of product line that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
• Contribute to cost reduction efforts by actively seeking and reporting opportunities for reduced costs.
• Stay abreast of changes in technology that improve manufacturing efficiency.
• Identify manufacturing ship capabilities and limitations.
• Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.

FACILITY/GROUP SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES

• Facilitates Improvement Projects for FM 529.
• Documents processes, instructions, recommendations, and key metrics.
• Analyzes equipment and safety specifications to provide recommendations.
• Oversees transitions, upgrades, and shifts in job structure, including defining and tracking performance metrics.
• Maps and analyze processes and identifies ways to reduce waste, improve workflow, and otherwise increase efficiency.
• Responsible for maintaining and updating master routers for FM 529 product lines to include, but not limited to, Power & Controls, Motors & Generators, Drawworks, Mudpumps, Overhead, Manifolds, and HPU.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in engineering & 5-years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Master's Degree Preferred
• Training certification in quality engineering, lean manufacturing, six sigma, and/or kaizen events.
• Familiarity with manufacturing activities including machining, welding, quality control, and assembly preferred.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Limited/no travel.
• Exposed to loud noise while in the warehouse.
• Exposed to moving parts while on the shop floor.
• Works in warehouse / shop floor environment setting 30% of the day, 70% of the day in spent at a computer in an office.
