Industrial Engineer

Labatt Food Service is looking for an Industrial Engineer to work with our systems and study the processes we have in our meat plant, Direct Source Meats. The qualified candidate will design, implement, and improve integrated systems comprised of people, materials, equipment and information for our company. This position will look at the big picture of what makes DSM work best-the right combination of human and natural resources, technology and equipment, and information and finance.

As an Industrial Engineer with Labatt Food Service, you will design and refine processes and systems to improve quality, safety, ergonomics and productivity. This position will find creative ways to solve tough problems within our manufacturing department.

The candidate will concentrate on improving the following areas: operations and logistics, material flow, manufacturing processes, space optimization, layouts, deplete dead inventory, maximize internal warehouse processes. The IE will conduct time studies on new and existing products, perform capacity studies at each of our manufacturing departments, will assist on packaging design and much more. The position will work closely with Senior Leadership, IT, Operations, and Logistics.

The qualified candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and experience with time studies, human factors, ergonomics, line balancing, layout design, etc. and will use Arena and basic AutoCAD. The qualified candidate should be proficient in Microsoft office and bilingual: Spanish and English.
