Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Industrial Engineer located in Columbia, SC.

Reporting to the Business Excellence Manager the Industrial Engineer role involves being responsible for supporting site Simulation and Workforce Design productivity initiatives.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Simulates process, materials, and manufacturing workflow using FlexSim software.

  • Facilitates weekly load of Workforce Design Direct Labor productivity tool.

  • Participates in weekly workforce utilization review meetings

  • Analyzes line layouts, line labor balance, production schedules, etc. to suggest improvements that improve overall line efficiency or throughput.

  • Analyzes product time standards using standard time study methodology REFA, MOST, WITNESS and or adequate tools.

  • Leads and supports initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas like LEAN, Automation and/or 6 sigma projects.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering Field or related.

  • 5+ years of experience in engineering in manufacturing environment

  • Experience using Simulation Software (FlexSim or other) preferred
