The Leonardo DRS Land Electronics business provides C4I Network computing and integrated situational awareness, as well as state-of-the-art embedded diagnostics, vehicle power management and combat vehicle integration products and services.

Job Responsibilities

• Apply industrial engineering and continuous improvement principles to support the identification, prioritization, and execution of improvement initiatives.

• May prepare plans, conduct support studies, provide analysis or tests in the support of manufacturing operations, engineering, and business process activities.

• Support the development or refinement of standard practices/procedures.

• Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization.

• Involved in implementing lean best practices throughout value stream.

• May perform time studies, calculate tact time vs cycle time, and develop basic manufacturing flow and capacity plans.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering field and 0+ years of experience or equivalent combination of education/training and experience.

• Experience and/or training in 6S, Gemba, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and similar best practices a plus.
