We are currently looking for an Industrial Engineer in Fort Worth, Texas. As an Industrial Engineer, you are responsible for planning the utilization of facilities, equipment, materials, and personnel to improve efficiency of operations.

Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Establishes work measurement programs (Time Studies & Delay Studies) and analyzes work samples to develop standards for labor utilization. This will include entering data into a Syteline database

  • Analyzes work force utilization, facility layout, and operational data such as production costs, process flow charts, and production schedules, to determine efficient utilization of workers and equipment.

  • Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste of materials and utilities such as restructuring job duties, reorganizing workflow, relocating workstations and equipment, and purchase of equipment.

  • Confers with management and engineering staff to implement plans and recommendations.

  • Establishes and maintains Lean practices, including CIP.

  • Develop Manufacturing System Design playbooks to adjust process based on Takt Time(s)

  • Observe and modify workplace design to improve ergonomics and reduce risk of CTD's

  • Build and maintain ERP database including operational routings & BOMs

  • Capacity Planning, to include proposals for new capital asset purchases

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. S.) in Industrial Engineering with two to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong Technical writing and verbal communication skills

Top candidates will also have:

  • 2D and 3D CAD experience

  • Simulation Software knowledge and/or experience

  • Project Management Experience

  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt

Additional Information:

  • Lift and/or move up to 25 pounds occasionally

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
