Overview

We are seeking an Industrial Engineer to support Burlington's Distribution Center organization through a variety of established reports and projects focused on enhancing productivity, increasing distribution capacity, reducing expense, maximizing throughput, and ensuring workplace safety through data reporting and analysis. As a Distribution Operations Engineer, you will assist in monitoring and tracking changes to operations, work measurement, methods, materials usage, and training with the goal of improving processes and productivity. This will directly impact throughput and increase cost savings across the distribution center.
A Day in the Life:

• Manage and publish operational key metric reporting and summarize opportunities
• Assist in new concepts rollouts to improve the flow and setup in the distribution centers
• Follow current forecast and analysis reporting to aid in determining staffing levels in order to meet Budget and Productivity goals
• Perform cost justification analysis for project requests
• Work effectively with internal and external resources to ensure collaborative partnerships to meet business requirements
• Assist in training operational partners as needed

You'll Come With:

• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent experience
• An understanding of Distribution Center Operations as well as basic data analytics skills
• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once, recognizing interdependencies & prioritizing appropriately.+ Effective ability to gather, analyze, and interpret information and data, and utilize that information to form recommendations.+ Excellent planning, organization, and problem-solving skills as well as strong communication skills and the ability to work cross functionally with business leaders.+ Technical skills including Excel, WMS, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
