Industrial Engineer - Automotive

Your Key Responsibilities

• Create Product Costing for new automotive products and systems considering materials, processes, labor, overhead, and other relevant factors.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather cost data and ensure accuracy in the costing process.

• Support PPA (Product Profitability Analysis) Creation by providing detailed cost analysis.

• Analyze production location options and recommend optimal manufacturing locations.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement design for manufacturing recommendations for new and existing products.

• Assess the regional product footprint to identify opportunities for cost optimization and margin improvement.

• Propose ideas to enhance cost efficiency through the integration of local and global business operations.

• Evaluate machine and plant layouts to optimize production efficiency and minimize resource requirements.

• External applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.

Your Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or related field).

• 2+ years of production engineering or related experience.

• Solid understanding in industrial manufacturing processes.

Preferred

• Ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams to achieve results.

• Experience of working in a high-paced automotive manufacturing environment

• Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze complex problems, identify root causes, and develop data-driven solutions.
